A few more peony bouquets went out this weekend. I can never plan ahead for sales as I don’t know when they will pop as so weather dependent. But these two…. Worked out perfectly

Some Mother’s Day bouquets went out. Peonies are such a joy 🩷🌷🩷 remind meOf my grandma and so nostalgic

Prepping the dahlia beds. Burning holes to seal edges in fabric. Dahlias like hot soil so I use this method

This boy has my heart. Adopted at 4 weeks old and bottle fed with his litter mates… he chose me as a scrawny little black kitten and our bond is amazing. We do everything together. 14 years of joy so far and counting. I am so blessed to have this amazing relationship. Soul mates come in all forms

Beautiful flowers for a beautiful friend. Dahlias, roses, hydrangeas, Dara ammi, lemon basil, coleus, liatris, wild grasses and mint. Next year I hope to add irrigation to my beds. Growing and improving slowly year by year. Inch by inch ❤️🌺❤️

What’s glorious morning for dahlias. They’re glorious. The shooting stars of the garden. They have a shorter vase life of 3-5 days…. But it’s 3-5 exquisitely beautiful days

Absolutely. Time to recommit ❤️🌺❤️

I think the hardest, but most empowering lesson I've learned as a gardener is that the best way to deter pests and diseases, grow abundant food and medicine, create a space that is beautiful and sacred, is simply devotion.

Products, techniques, planning means nothing if devotion is absent. Even if I don't spend every day all day in the garden, I keep coming back, keep giving, listening, shifting. There needs to be that commitment to never give up.

Because gardening isn't just a hobby or even a lifestyle. It's a relationship, with the land, the plants, the stars.

Here in the dog days of summer it's easy to let the garden go rogue. But now we have the chance to re-devote ourselves to the garden and the motivation we had during spring. A vow renewal of sorts.

Just in case you need to hear it: The garden yearns to feel your hands in the soil. Get back in there. Even if that means working under the moon when the day finally cools or in the wee hours of the morning. There is still time.

Delivery going out this am. I love growing flowers. I love arranging flowers. I really love delivering flowers! Their energy is so healing and uplifting. You can even see their aura. Snap dragons doing great this season. Other things kicking in gear now. Should have dahlias next month for sure and gladiolus are starting to pop. If anyone is interested in a bouquet just message me. I have limited quantities I can make and have a regular clientele I supply. ❤️🌺❤️
