Ringside K.O. with Forte Farms FL.
Baby Cyrus spent the morning passed out, lulled to sleep by Sabrina Calil π΄ Other than a few shared notes and ideas, I'm not sure I'm needed out here anymore lol. Come Fall you'll see more of me, but my focus may be on our littles programs and individual equitation drills.
Enjoying my maternity leave and at peace with the evolution of our little program β€οΈ
Goose LOVES the babies πΆππ¦
Hopefully he can forgive me for his boring life over the last 9 months π
Counting down the days to get back in the saddle and onto more adventures with my unicorn!
Going LIVE tomorrow morning with a special announcement!

Looking for some Summer Horsey Fun??
Don't miss out on an unforgettable experience with our friends at Filetti Farms !
It was a rough night for several of our residents with fireworks going on closely around us until almost midnight π₯Ίπ₯΄π΄
I'm anticipating a LONG weekend of stragglers.... So I cancelled our induction planned for today to be home for the animals. Hopefully baby boy will stay put until at LEAST Sunday π€π
π€
Any bets when our Next HUMAN family member will join the Lazy H Family??
*Baby Boy's Due Date is July 12th for a best guesstimate ;)
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Independence Day!
β€οΈπ€πWishing you a joyus and safe 4th of July! π
Please remember the animals who may be frightened or overwhelmed by the fireworks and commotion. Let's make sure they stay safe and happy too!
Summer Project # I don't even know anymore is complete!
With Independence Day just days away, Mr Hamzehloui knocked out a quick re-do of our Big Red Barn Run-Out to ensure our front pasture ponies would have a safe, contained, more distant place away from the Campers across the street. In Years past, fireworks and noise makers have been a scare factor to the littles herd, and with the roadway so close, we have taken the extra precaution of pulling everyone to the center of the property this time of year. And since the interior fencing was due for an overhaul, Mr Hamzehloui took advantage of making two separate runs off the stalls for future use should we need it for ourselves or clients.
I'll consider this my "Push Gift" as baby boy may just make his grand entrance in the excitement of the Holiday π
*Mr Hamzehloui will also be on Paternity Leave from major projects once baby DOES arrive. The rest of our ever growing farm "To-Do List" will resume in Fall unless necessity calls for it. I'll also be contacting those who have expressed interest in purchasing ground/jump poles as soon as he is able to get his books in order β€οΈ
Ruby and Pearl making a 3rd watering hole by digging a trench to the goat's trough overflow since their giant pool and mister station are apparently not good enough π
They would LOVE to find a new home together with lots of attention, room to roam, tons of shade, and a lake to lounge in π
This is my annual reminder to PLEASE take your neighbors with Livestock into consideration prior to setting off your Traditional Light Show in Celebration of our Nation's Great Holiday ππΊπ²π
The hours we spend desensitizing with gun shots, noise makers, and tannerite just DO NOT PREPARE our animals for an entire night (or several as I'm sure is to be expected all weekend long) of bright and booming lights with debris and smells of war. While most of our animals have no issues with the spectacle, there are some who have cost thousands in *stress related* vet bills, fencing damages, and nights long wellness checks losing hours of sleep π΄ Knowing WHEN and for HOW LONG allows us to prepare by pulling horses to the center of our property, turn on lights and fans in the barns much like white noise, or administer sedatives ($80 a tube π€) that we can only procure through our veterinarian.
PLEASE have the courteousy to alert your neighbors of any impending celebrations so they can make safety preparations!!
Thank you and have a SAFE and Happy Independence Day β€οΈ
A big shout out and Congratulations to all our riders and horses who participated at the HSITP Barbie Themed Battle of the Barns Show out at Grand Oaks this weekend!! Y'all rocked it!! πππ
Congrats to our riders at the Barbie show! We all had a fun and memorable weekend with the team and Iβm proud of each and every one of you ladies for stepping up to the competition. I am so excited to see the new partnerships that are developing continue throughout the season π
After two weeks on bedrest keeping this baby IN after an early attempt to escape ... it was nice to get out and let the Goat Herd browse on the FINALLY growing grass.
Anxious to get back to work around the farm but baby is taking first priority. He should be joining our family anytime between now and early July. Then it's back to Summer projects! I'm also slowly coming to terms with finding new homes for some of our hobby critters...
I currently have an album of available animals from our farm. All extremely friendly. Reasonable offers considered, family homes given priority β€οΈ PM for more information.
Wishing the best of luck to these pony butts as they head off to Grand Oaks to Show in true Barbie Girl Fashion!

Better late than never, but Happy Father's Day to the man who keeps this farm running front, center, and behind the scenes β€οΈ
Mr Hamzehloui has been pulling ALL the weight around here while I've been ordered in bedrest after false labor last week π
He's a jack of all trades, an absolute chameleon, gifted in just about everything he tries and the very best daddy to our girls (and farm animals).
I don't know what we'd do without him!
The rain FINALLY came!
Enough to make my arena happy for a day or two π
Grass is soaking it up and even the horses ran around a bit while it fell. Now back to Sunshine...
Please send more π§ our way!
I keep hearing rumors about rain in Florida π€
It's OFFICIALLY Hurricane Season and we haven't had a drop in weeks ππ§π₯΅ We're high and dry watching all the dark clouds pass us by. Please send rain!!
This little Bubble Bee partnership is looking forward to a Barbie Show later this month π Can't wait to see them all decked out in PINK!

Mr Hamzehloui is considering offering services making 10'-12' poles, basic, and custom wooden standards.
I'm posting on our page to see how many local equestrians may be interested in expanding their courses :) With enough interest, he'll start working on a set list and option guide.

Y'all... I need your help!
Our ever so talented trainer Sabrina Calil got behind the camera to do my maternity pictures this weekend and I'm having a HARD time picking favorites to print and blow up π
It's been a long time since we've done family portraits and I'm in love with them all!
In honor & memory of those who gave ALL πΊπ²
Project "Jump Crew" commenced this morning!
Our boarders got together to help add to our jumping course today. A few new standards and about a dozen Poles were constructed, along with some fun fillers. Some of our older jumps got touched up or will be in need of a total make over. Just about everything has been primed for more colors to come!
So grateful to have everyone's support in beautifying the barn this Summer!!
*Parents & Students: Keep an eye out for a future Painting/Pizza/Pool Party in the coming weeks! Many hands make for light work!!
β οΈ A Special Note to Future Inquiries β οΈ
At this time, ALL listed Services are on PAUSE for Summer while Mrs K is on Maternity Leave with the exception of Private Lessons (ages 6 and up) with our New On-site Hunter/Jumper trainer. Please direct all Riding Lesson inquiries to Sabrina Calil of Forte Farms FL.

What "Nesting" looks like when you own a farm π
The inside of my house may be in need of an overhaul... but the barn work is more visable. At least the critters are reaping the benefits! Our boarders and students will also enjoy not wacking their heads on low hanging branches as we head into Summer π€£
You cannot beat having shade in the arena when the hot sun is beaming though!!
Poor Goose has been "neglected" these past several months while I've been growing baby #3.
We are planning to do family maternity pictures this weekend and Goose will be featured. And of COURSE his long luxurious tail turned into a birds nest that required some TLC before bathing and conditioning this week. So while others rode in the arena, Goose parked on the sidelines with his breakfast and got a much needed Makeover.
Then Mr Hamzehloui offered to ride and give him a little workout. Goose was SO happy to cruise around the arena for the first time in a long time. I could not be more grateful for a horsey husband who can do it ALL π
Looking forward to getting back in the saddle before Summer's end!
A family affair!
I think Mother/Daughter & Father/Daughter lessons are my favorite to watch π

The heat is ON as we wish the best, and safest, trip for all Kentucky Derby Contenders today! Our resident Off Track retirees, Unlocked (Jimmy) and Target Locked, enjoy a daily rinse with their pasture mates when temperatures start spiking π₯΅ There are many programs in place to help Thoroughbreds coming off the track adjust into new careers and their talents are ENDLESS! Hunter, Jumpers, Barrels, Dressage and Eventing, you'll find a TB in just about every Equestrian Sport. Consider adopting an OTTB in your future β€οΈ For those still on the track, May the Fourth be with you!
Just enjoying this breezy, sunny, blue sky, eighty degree, Spring day... imagining what this field will look like with all the ponies grazing in it... π€ Our farm is in a transition period from Public format to fully Private. We are looking at ways to best serve our equine residents and those locally entering Equestrian Sport. That includes offering more quality turn out and amenities to meet every growing needs. Our hobby program (goats, pigs, chickens, etc) will be downsizing to allow for more focus on our rescue and rehoming efforts for future horses and ponies, as we initially started. Back to basics. And onto New Opportunities! Private lessons are currently in session and will continue to do so under Sabrina (aka Forte Farms FL ). We will be looking to offer future Farm Camps and Open Pony Ride events to help fund projects and show experiences for our students looking to pursue big dreams. So keep an eye out for more information in the months to come! Hope everyone has an awesome end of school year and wonderful Summer Vacation β€οΈ
A reminder that our farm is CLOSED today! All visits are By Appointment ONLY. Our next scheduled Snuggle Session is NEXT Sunday. If the session books up, I will add another ;) π Ticketed events can be found here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/thelazyhllc/
Babies are all together now and have a blast spending the afternoon stretching their legs and running about on the Kiddie Playground π
Evening downtime with the babies β€οΈ One more mama on my watch list before we wrap up the 2024 Baby Goat Season! Reeses' first expected due date (Day 145) is January 23rd. As her sister went exactly according to schedule, I am watching her very closely. Especially with her behavioral and physical changes just today (i.e. separating from the herd, increased clingyness, appetite fluctuations). So under the spycam she goes! Snickerdoodle remains in the big barn while we address an eye boo-boo, so Reeses is getting used to the communal kidding room. Not ideal, but I'll be watching her closely. I do have the ability to separate the other mamas and babies into the other side of the barn should I need to. Fingers crossed we see babies in the next few days π€ Preferably on Thursday aka my "one day off" Please and Thank you Reese π
My name is Keira Hamzehloui. I have been riding, showing, and working with horses since the age of 7. My husband, Dustin, and I have talked about moving out to the country from suburban living for as long as we've known each other. That dream became a reality in 2013 just before our first baby girl was born. Our second little girl joined us two years later.
As time as gone on, our small hobby farm has grown and adapted to the needs of our friends, family, and neighbors. We've been renewed in the spirit of our family goals and are working to make our home a safe haven for farm animals, children, and horse owners alike. On a daily, we care for a dozen or so horses, a couple guard donkeys, a herd of Nigerian dwarf goats, pot bellied piggies, beef and dairy cows, a few barn cats, and some staple farm dogs.
The Lazy H has evolved to offer pony parties, family friendly activities, and a number of seasonal events in addition to horse boarding and riding lessons. We hope to educate the public on what it means to be involved with horses and other animals of the farm yard variety including the care that goes into maintaining them. To us, our farm animals are family as much as they are important, functioning providers on our little farm.
