The balance on this hackamore is what sets it apart.

It has a little more weight on the shank than most hackamores and a unique placement of the chin strap.

The correspondence between the nose band and the chin strap gives this hackamore a lot of feel
and helps balance the horse’s head. This is achieved by encouraging the horse to bring its nose back to your hands, but allowing the horse to slightly elevate the front end and push forward through the poll.

The 𝐒𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐔𝐩 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 will help lift the wither, which in turn helps the shoulder to elevate. This
helps give the lateral bend that is needed throughout the run.

The unique design encourages the horse to bring its hind end up underneath them and sets the horse up for a powerful stop.

Because of this, when they are stopped properly, it softens the shoulders, loading the horse’s hind end, which in turn creates a suppleness in their shoulders.

Can someone please tell me who this man is that held up the “Add Breakaway” sign at the NFR during the dance cam? I truly want to hug his neck and wish I could multiply him by about 10,000 people a night! Love to you whoever you are! We need more of you! ❤️

I’m grateful Rollo took care of business last night to keep us in the money in Round 1. I know there’s been extensive talk about the performance last night…please remember that when moving dirt into a building for events like the NFR, it can be challenging to figure out in the first few days for the athletes and the ground crew to get things correct. The barrel racers, WPRA and NFR ground crew are working hard to make it great and consistent for us in the remaining nine rounds. Rollo and I have some adjustments to make and will be back after it in Round 2 tonight!

As a rule of thumb, we don’t feed into gossip and like to give a person a fair shake until they prove to us otherwise. There have been a lot of rumors online about the Cowboy State Stallion Incentive. While we didn’t think they were untrue, we were also holding judgement until we could follow this process through ourselves. Over the summer it was brought to our attention that some of our clients had not been paid their winnings and they reached out to us for help. At that time, we contacted Jane and discussed that we couldn’t re-enroll the studs if our clients, and our own payments, were not caught up. She seemed very understanding and agreed.

The last few days we’ve had several discussions with her and again expressed that we could not re-enroll the stallions without back payments being caught up. We also asked for the results of all the missing races to know if any payments were due from those. Many of you have asked the same. We were told “All the results from 2023 that we are paying have been posted on the website {one race is posted}. We are waiting on quite a few past due balances to be resolved before any others will be posted or paid. The exception is the Kick Em Up Cans race, which is going to be paid as soon as the auction starts and I have a few minutes to dedicate to that. Thankfully, we have had a few of the past due balances get taken care of but still have more outstanding.”

In short, everybody’s money is being held hostage.

We are sorry to announce that she has effectively kicked Magnum and Vanila Viper out of her program because we will not enroll them into the auction without past due payments from others being caught up. She also informed us that removing us means she will keep all the stallion owner awards our horses earn from here on out for herself.

It is unfortunate it’s come to this, but our own experience is now coinciding with many others. Thank you all for your understanding as we add new, valuable incentives for you to enjoy!

Ok one more thing… for those of you who have BIG WINNERS (pro rodeo/Futurity/super show) I want you to comment how much your horse has won, and some quirk you have to deal with. 😅

I’ll go first: This is “Sway” or lovingly “Suic*de Barbie” 💋 (Three Times The Fury) LTE $230,000 and she is her own woman. Bossy. Flighty. SMELLS WEAKNESS!! 😂 Sets back at the trailer but doesn’t go anywhere, just breaks the hook or string… just wants you to know she can’t be restrained. 😂 Will literally chase you down with her butt to scratch her… and she’s a large farm animal. Terrifies everyone. Doesn’t really stand that still when I’m mounting… TikTok seems to be bothered by this. 🤷🏻‍♀️
