We are a member of our local retriever club and we participate in hunt test and field trials with all of our dogs. Porter is a decendant of the first renown fox red, Wynfaul Tabasco (b.1986), described as "the father of the modern fox red Labrador", and the only modern fox red Show Champion in the UK. Bailey, our 5yr old dam, has 2 master hunters in her pedigree, Seay's Brown Bear MH and Seay's Tattle Tail Two Bits MH. Bailey's dam is a chocolate American lab and her sire is a 100lb black English lab. Brandy, our 4yr old fox red dam, sire is Helm's Signature Point Doctor, son of Helms' Point Doctor PT from the Kellogg line of pointing Fox Red labs. Her dam has many proven hunters in her pedigree including Rik's Risky Raider MH, Cherry Grove Spun Gold MH, and Hammer'n Hoodie MH. Brandy is EIC: E/N. We breed Chocolate labs and Fox Red labs. We introduce them to wings, bumpers, grouse and duck scent, gunshots, and water (weather permitting). We also expose them to our other dogs and our young children, everyday noises like vacuums, and take them for rides in their kennels in the car and introduce them to stairs. We also begin kennel training the pups when they are weaned around 4wks old. We have an inside kennel with a dog door that enables them to learn to go outside to go potty at their convenience. Our approach to kennel training is to better ready the pup for life in their new home. Our goal is to get them in the routine of going to a door to be let out to go potty and drastically cut down on housebreaking for their new owner. If you are interested in one of the pups, let me know and I will keep you updated on the whelping date, how many pups, and pictures when they are born. I take weekly pics and separate the pups by collar color so that the new owner can know which pup is theirs and watch them as they grow. The first deposit on a pup gets pick of the litter of either s*x. We are Service Disabled Veteran Owned and we support our active duty and retired military. We offer a military discount and veteran discount to anyone interested in our pups who meet that criteria. We breed quality Labradors and do training and genetic testings to improve their bloodlines.
