Lucky has finally found her forever family! Since she has been in returned twice we were extra careful on finding her new home. It was a bitter sweet moment saying goodbye but we are very confident that she will be happy with her family.

Meet Colorado! She is a Podengo about a year and a half old. She's a little nervous when she meets new people but warms up quickly. She gets along with most dogs. She was recently spayed and fully vaccinated. Please stop by next week and meet her. We are open Tuesday through Saturday.

We have been getting a lot of questions in regards to the so we wanted to make one post to address how to make monetary donations. We can only take check or money order dropped off or mailed to the shelter at 200 Bridge Street Fairhaven, MA. We do not have a system in place to make donations online via credit card at this time. The only way is by mail or in person, we will be open tomorrow from 9am-3pm. Happy 100th birthday Betty White!

Lucky is this weeks wet nose Wednesday!

Lucky is a one-year-old beagle mix with lots of love to share. After her last two homes didn't work out, she hopes to find the perfect family this time around.

*Koda has been adopted!*

Meet Koda! She just turned 6 months old on Christmas day. She isn't house trained at all and she needs to be trained in most other areas as well. She loves to play with people and other dogs. A professional trainer such as Eric Letendre's Dog Training School could do wonders with her. A fenced in yard is a must. She is spayed and up to date with vaccines. She just needs her forever family. We are extremely short staffed so please be patient. If you call and we don’t call you back it is most likely we have an influx of voicemails regarding her. Dogs like Koda bring in 50+ voicemails, not just phone calls, voicemails. We are open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-3pm if you are going to fill out an application.

Lucky is still here waiting for her forever family. She has not benefited from her name while trying to get adopted. She is just over a year old and has spent most of that time in a shelter. She loves other dogs and is loaded with energy. The only thing that she has more than energy is love. If you can't give her a home please share this post. Let's provide a Christmas miracle for her!

Meet Ash!

Ash is an eight-month-old kitten that has watched all of his brothers and sisters be adopted from the Fairhaven Animal Shelter. He is ready for his turn.

Poor Ash has sat back and watched all of his litter mates go home for the holidays. He is still here waiting for his forever home. He can have an attitude but given the right home we feel that he will come out of his shell. He needs a lot of patience and a quiet home. Please stop by and meet him and give him a chance.

Meet Wiley! He's about 3 years old. He is cute as can be and a complete ball of fun! Wiley is 74 pounds, he is scared of cats. He loves back and belly scratches and just all around loves life and loves to be loved. If you are interested in Wiley we are open Tuesday-Saturday 9am-3pm.
