**BREAKING NEWS**
We have finally apprehended the unknown suspect nicknamed “The Treat Raider”, that has been raiding the city’s treat jars at night. We now know his street name is Bear, and would use his towering height of 6 inches to maneuver into the jars. Special thanks to the talented sketch artist for the accurate depiction of the perpetrator. We can all rest easier knowing he is no longer roaming free.

Here’s a friendly reminder to make sure your pet is not only microchipped, but that the microchip is registered! Someone brought this sweet lost boy in today to check for a microchip. We did find a microchip number, but unfortunately it wasn’t registered to anybody! This handsome boy definitely has a home, if you have any information please reach out.

Angel Animal Hospital is a declaw-free clinic! Declawing is an inhumane amputation of a cats toes and will hopefully become illegal in ALL animal hospitals in the state of Michigan sometime this year. Declawing can GREATLY affect a cats mental and physical state of being for the rest of its life. Even if there are no obvious side effects from the procedure, it’s a traumatic and invasive procedure that will leave them scarred for life. If you are considering declawing, or know someone who’s considering it, please educate on other options such as scratching posts/regular nail trims/ and claw caps. There are many resources on why declawing is bad for your precious babies, let’s leave outdated ways in the past to make way for a better future!

If there is an emergency and we have the space/staffing, we are MORE than happy to accommodate your pet, BUT if we cannot, there are multiple resources for 24/7 emergency hospitals that we can provide for you!
