Meet Rosita, a loyal soul in need of a second chance💓

At just 3 years old and 107 lbs, Rosita is gentle, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. She was surrendered sadly because her family could no longer make time for her, but she’s ready to give her heart to someone who will.

Rosita may be playful with her toys and eager to run, but she also has a calm side, often happy to just lay on a couch beside you. She knows her basic commands and respects her space—she’ll wait patiently for treats without begging. Recently, she’s been showing more of her true self at the shelter, softening each day as she approaches for pets and treats 🐾 🐶 🥰

If you’re searching for a faithful companion who’s been waiting for someone to see her worth, Rosita is here, hoping to finally find her forever home.

When you support our VCA Walk for the Animals fundraiser, like Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc, you are helping animals like Rosita receive proper care and find a loving home.

She would love to get adopted and attend the 2025 VCA Walk for the Animals! 💖

Update: Harley has been adopted!! 🙌❤️

_________

Please don’t scroll past me 🥺🙏

I’m a shy girl who sometimes hides in my kennel, so when adopters walk by they don’t even notice me 😔 All I want is to feel safe and loved, but I’m not sure how to tell them 🥺

I’m 3-year-old Harley and I like to take things slowly 🙏 Once I get to know you, I like to be right by your side getting treats and back scratches ☺️

I came here from an overcrowded shelter where I was also being overlooked 😔 Now, I’m hoping someone will see this post and please give me a chance 🙏
I’m a sweet and gentle girl. Won’t you help me find a forever family? ❤️

If I sound like I might be a good fit for you, please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and come to the shelter to meet me. Oh sweetie!

Meet Marky Mark (previously known as Larkin), the 5-year-old American bulldog mix who is all smiles and sweetness! 🐾 This handsome boy was adopted 3 years ago, but sadly, his owner had to surrender him due to a move. Marky Mark has been let down by humans more than once, but his spirit remains as bright as ever. ✨🐶 💕

Marky Mark has allergies, including a sensitivity to chicken, so his new family will need to provide consistent care with the right food and treats. But even with itchy skin, he’s one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet! Marky Mark is super friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs, and he loves bath time, especially when it’s followed by zoomies during his dry-off! 🛁💨

Marky Mark would make an amazing family dog. Whoever adopts him will feel so lucky to have this loyal and loving boy by their side. ❤️ Let’s find him the forever home he deserves!

Meet Dapper our Walk Wednesday Pet of the Week, brought to you by ♥️ 🐶

This handsome 5-year-old was evacuated from an outdoor shelter in Madison County, Florida, before Hurricane Helene. Dapper is the perfect blend of calm and playful! He loves spending time outside, walks well on leash, and knows basic commands like sit and down. Though he’s not too interested in toys, he’s all about pets and attention. He takes treats gently, comes when called, and is affectionate with a relaxed, friendly demeanor. Whether he’s chilling by your side or enjoying a nice long walk, Dapper’s calm energy makes him an easygoing companion. Could he be the perfect fit for your family?
