Mr. Pumpkin Doodle would like to remind every pet owner that, “Pure Pumpkin” is great for your pets digestion system with hairballs and their coat, it’s high in fiber even helps with protecting their immune system and is a healthy treat that they Loveee!!

For Cats: 🐈

A good rule of thumb is 1 teaspoon once or twice a day for an average-sized cat, or 1/2 teaspoon for smaller cats or kittens.

For Dogs:🐶

The amount of pumpkin you can give your dog depends on their size and calorie needs. Here are some general guidelines:
Extra-small dogs (2–20 lbs): 2–3 teaspoons of pumpkin
Small dogs (21–30 lbs): 1–2 tablespoons of pumpkin
Medium dogs (31–50 lbs): 2–3 tablespoons of pumpkin
Large dogs (51–90 lbs): 4–5 tablespoons of pumpkin
Extra-large dogs (91+ lbs): ¼ cup of pumpkin

I hope all my friends, family and clients stay safe during this time and we pray that it goes down to a cat 3-4 and have to have a little faith that everything and everyone will be ok.
I care about all my friends, family and clients who have become family.
We are still in the iona area, zone A and my mom is starting to put her China and pottery pieces away just in case we have to go to Leigh acres tomorrow.
We have a family friends house we’ve ridden out Irma and Ian out. We will take our belongings and the cat and go there as a last resort. Hopefully praying by later tonight and tomorrow it decreases but you never can know with these storms. But it reminds me of Charlie an Andrew a little bit, PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR PETS!!🐈🙏🏼♥️🐾

Today I helped a cat rescue called Save Our Strays Feline Rescue by volunteering and feeding the stray cats that are on the island left from hurricane Ian. The lady that owns it is looking for full-time volunteers, or college students willing to earn credits or help out any way they can.

She’s also is looking for donations for the following: wet cat food, dry cat food and cat litter.

Today I met Jo the owner of the rescue and her friend Laurie.

I picked up Laurie and we went to about 6 different places on and off the island.
I helped her carry jugs of water, dry cat food and wet food. After a couple hours of helping I could see just how passionate they are about helping each one of the cats, and Laurie knows all there names by heart. I’m hoping by sharing this post other animal lovers and rescuers will know someone who’d love to volunteer for this. I only got a couple pictures but I definitely feel for these past pets who were displaced from the hurricane, and there are so many more I saw but didn’t get a picture. Almost every place we went to as soon as we put water and food down I’d look up and see one then two then more and so on after that. I knew it was bad on Fort Myers Beach after the hurricane just like Sanibel but I didn’t realize how bad and sad as well.

The place where my brother and I used to get bogo pizzas on Tuesdays was completely gone, all that I saw left was half the sign. I herd they rebuilt but if you think it’s not that bad you’ll have to go out on the island for yourself to believe it. You’ll see a lot of rebuilding but I can’t imagine loosing a pet like this.
