Our Mission is to provide your special family pet with love and care while you are away, at very rea 2021 Fee and Policy Notice for Boarding.

Boarding:
* Boarding Fees 5x5 Kennel for one dog is $35 per day.
* Boarding fees 5×10 Kennel for one dog is $45.00 per day.
* Each additional dog in the same family is $25 per day
* Aggressive Dog Boarding is $60.00 per day.
* Doggie Day Care from 7am to 6pm $15.00 per day Monday through Friday Only. Grooming:
* Grooming open Monday through Sunday call for appointment.

* Private lessons Here $60 per session.
* Private lessons in your home $75 per session.
* Group class 5 weeks long price is $225 for program. (when offered)
* Boad and Train programs also provided.

* Two week program (15 day program)
* Three week program (21 day program)
* Potty training program cost for program $800 for 10 days. please call for program pricing. Aggressive Dogs welcomed but cost will be highly. Trainers:

*Dogs MUST be pick-Up before 10am to avoid charges for that Day. Note: Many Kennels charge for first and last day regardless of time. We tried to split the difference by not charging if your pet is picked up before 10am

* When Booking During the Holidays days booked MUST be paid at the time of scheduling to hold the kennel. Kennel is NOT confirmed until payment is received. NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION ON HOLIDAYS. Holiday's Are:

Easter Weekend
Spring Break Week
Memorial Weekend
4th of July Weekend
Labor Day Weekend
Thanksgiving
Christmas Break
*Other Cancellations Must be at Least 72 Hours Notice.

*Dogs are not allowed to share a Kennel due to the need for monitoring of food and water intake as well as monitoring of elimination for health reasons. Dogs from the same family will be allowed to play together in the exercise area daily.

* Everyone must bring there own Dog Food. There is too much stress on a dog when boarding and changing foods should not be one of them. This is for the safety of the dog.

* Dog beds, personal toys are permitted but will be removed if the dog tears or shreds them due to safety reason.

*ALL VACCINATIONS and KENNEL COUGH must be Up to Date before Boarding.

*We work to reduce stress on your pets as much as possible by including Multiple play sessions and Walks per day as well as playing Music for relaxation in the Kennels. Most dogs settle in immediately.

*Laurie and Brad Binz are the owners and are Certified Medical Technician and have been trained in Animal First Aid. Please provide accurate information on the health history and special health needs of your pets so we are better informed about what is best for your pet.

*Doctor Martin with Fort Wayne Pet Hospital is our vet on record.

* Feeding is schedule twice a Day Morning and Evening. Infestations: Any dog found with infestations of ticks or fleas will be treated at Owner's Expense. Flea Bath will be giving and ticks removed.

*Britney Woods is our Groomer/Shop Manger and has over 20 years Certified Grooming experience.

Von Aries Kennels is currently looking to hire an afternoon receptionist. Job Duties would include but are not limited too:
✔️ Answer incoming calls
✔️ Checking Clients in and out of boarding and grooming
✔️ Making sure we have proper feeding instructions and inventory of all pet belongings for boarding
✔️ Printing off run cards and putting them on kennel with pet
✔️ Writing feeding instructions on feeding board
✔️ Filling out med sheets
✔️ Scheduling Boarding and Grooming Reservations
✔️ Making sure all contracts are filled out and completed
✔️ Responding to emails in a timely manner
✔️ Inputting all New client information into our system
✔️ Making sure all existing clients information is up to date
✔️ Notifying clients of expired vaccinations and obtaining updated records and inputting them into our system
✔️ Pulling and Filing Grooming Cards
✔️ Daily cleaning to keep our lobby looking nice

Qualifications:
✔️ Must have a love for animals
✔️ Strong communication Skills
✔️ Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
✔️ Basic knowledge of different breeds

The facility will provide an opportunity for pets to have 100% supervised all day interactive play with other dogs. This is the perfect place to take your pet to socialize and make K-9 friends. As many of you know one of our Groomers Amanda has had to take family leave on and off this past year. This has been due to both her Father and Mother unexpectedly being diagnosed with cancer with her mothers being terminal. This has been a huge financial hardship on her parents as far as medical expenses and funeral expenses. I have attached a Go Fund me that her sister has set up and any donations would be greatly appreciated to help alleviate some of their financial stress. We have also placed a donation box at our receptionist counter in our facility. We are asking for prayers for Amanda, her parents and the rest of her family through this difficult time. If you could share this post we would appreciate it. God Bless!

Ms. Piper was in for a two day training program to learn how to come when called and place when asked! Piper did very well and went home and show off all her new skills to her very happy family!

Piper was here for a few days this week learning to place and come when called. Piper rocked her training out and went back home today! Way to go Piper keep up all the good work!

Our Story

2019 Policies and Fees

*Boarding: fees 25/day for 5x5 suite or 30/day for 5x10 suite. Each addition family dog will be $15 per day. Boarding dogs must be picked up by 10 am to avoid charges for that day. Dogs are fed in the morning and evening; we are happy to accomodate your dogs’ feeding schedule if it does not match ours. We do not charge extra for medication administration or any other special needs associated with your companion. You are more than welcome to bring blankets, toys from home to make your pet more comfortable during their stay. No large beds over 2x2ft will be accepted. We have Orthopedic Kuranda beds in each kennel. Please bring your own food to keep them on the same feeding schedule they are used to following to reduce stress. Von Aries Kennels offers an open door policey, you may stop by for a tour Monday thru Friday 7am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 12pm, After hours please call and we would be happy to schedule a time that would work for you.

*Cancellations must be 72 hours in advance.

*Doggie daycare is $12 per day, per dog from 7 am - 6 pm Mon-Fri only.

*When scheduling during the Holidays, payment is expected at the time of appointment scheduling to hold the kennel. No refunds are granted during the Holidays. Holidays are as followed: Easter weekend, spring break week, Memorial weekend, July Fourth weekend, Labor day weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break.

* Vaccines: All boarding dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper combination, and Bordatella (kennel cough). Grooming dogs must be up to date on at least Rabies vaccine.

*Activity: We work hard to reduce the stresses on your companion during their stay by making sure they get multiple play sessions every day and playing relaxing music in the boarding areas. Most dogs settle into the boarding scene immediately and enjoy their stay at Von Aries.

*Infestations: Any dog found with fleas or ticks will be treated at the owner’s expense. A thorough flea bath will be given and all ticks removed.

Credentials: The owners of Von Aries Kennels, Laurie and Brad Binz, are Certified Medial Technicians and are also trained in Animal First Aid. Doctor Martin of Fort Wayne Pet Hospital is our vet on call. Please provide us with any medical details or special needs your pet may have so we can provide your dog with the best care possible while you are away.
