The Republican Mayoral Primary results were officially certified yesterday. John Leggio won the election by 54 votes. He ran as the anti-establishment “No Strings Attached” candidate and his message resonated with many Republican voters. Mr. Leggio will be the Republican nominee for mayor in the General Election. Congratulations!

This election saw an increase in turnout of about 700 voters over the 2022 contested primary. We looked at the numbers by district and found Leggio won 16 districts, Nadel won 15 districts and they tied in 1 district. Gasior did not win any districts.

The data shows there was an average of about 20 more voters per district. However, the largest increases were in the Ramtown districts of 7, 15, 18, 19, and 26. Collectively, these districts had over 260 more voters.
