Today is our last day with the babies! Tonka and Ollie go home tomorrow, and we are hoping Chevy finds his forever family! But for this afternoon, they’ve got Gus to keep them company for a well deserved nap after neutering❤️

Mischa is being such a wonderful buddy to lil Tonka! He loves loves snuggling up with bigger dogs if they’ll let him, and I’m so proud of how gentle, sweet and snuggly she is being with him! She even let him clean her ears while he sat on her neck🤣🥹

When you have three 10 week old puppies in foster, they come to daycare! From left, Chevy(unadopted) Ollie(adopted) and Tonka(adopted). They love daycare, and their new Tuesday group of friends! This is super beneficial for fosters as they get extra socialization and play time, and helps us allllll sleep at night🤣and my fosters get to be with me 24/7 which is my favorite part. So thankful for my incredible daycare crew today who has helped these babies feel welcomed and safe!

Blue and Iorek say, hey come join us, daycare is a blast!
As of now I have openings, Mondays(possibly if I have enough dogs signed up, Tuesdays Thursdays, and Fridays!
All dogs need to be vaccinated against, Lyme, Leptospirosis, Kennel Cough, and Rabies, and on flea and tick, and heart worm prevention. My job apart from creating a safe space for the pups to have fun, is to make sure all dogs are healthy to be with each other. If your dog is showing any signs of illness, please for the other dogs sake, keep your kiddo home!

I haven’t posted about this yet, because honestly I’m having a hard time coming to terms with it. Last week, we lost a valued member of our pack to cancer. Baylor was a part of our lives and pack for the majority of his life. He was one of my original pack members, Hamish’s best friend, and an always happy presence in daycare, greeting every dog with his big beaming smile. He was incredibly tolerant and amazing with puppies, and liked to take on a mother role, especially with our then puppy, Iorek. Ohhh iorek loved to follow B around and do everything B was doing. We never get enough time with our beloved pets, but I am so grateful for the years I was blessed with and being able to be a safe happy place for him. I love you B Boy, I betting anything that you and Hamish are doing your weird friend dance. I will miss your hilarious Baylor sounds, fighting you for the king size bed when you stayed at home with us, and watching you take in the sunrise.

Georgie has discovered frisbees and he’s a huge fan! But being Pyr/Anatolian, he doesn’t go chasing after it, it’s more of a lazy sassy trot🤣So thrilled that he’s our baby, and we get to watch him learn that the world is safer and more fun that he imagined❤️I love you G!

We are officially back to it! It’s been so wonderfully fun to reconnect with you all and see the babies again! Does my heart so good to be able to cuddle them again!

Here is one of my favorite pics from the week so far, our ruler, Ru is back to bossing everyone around, and I love each expression on the other dogs faces🤣 Keelan(foster dog) all the way to the left, middle is Iorek, and far right is Hollie! With lil boy Ru awooooing away at them!

Can’t wait to get back to normal groups and welcome new friends!

I am SO excited to be officially reopening daycare, Monday through Friday next week! My past regular daycare parents, if you see this message and would like to rejoin daycare, and you haven’t already let me know, please do! I’d love to get a headcount on the days, so I know where I can add new pups!
Please remember, your pup needs to be up to date on all vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough, Lepto, Lyme and be on current preventatives for Flea, tick and heart worm! Text me a pic of your vaccine records!

Hello wonderful community! I wanted to share the fantastic new that I received from Ioreks surgeon today! I have the all clear to reopen daycare the end of this month! I am planning on daycare to reopen Monday, March 25th!
As per the usual, I need updated vaccination records from you please and confirmation you are still using flea, tick and heart worm preventatives. You can text those to me! Daycare is open to my “regulars” for the time being, while I get a clear headcount as to how many are in daycare and what openings I have. I’ll post again when I opening daycare up to bringing in new babies!
I have a few dates already when I will be off in September for weddings, one wedding being my own beautiful sister!!!! Wow! I will post those dates soon, as well as post asap when we get out Eagle dates.
I have been waiting so very long to see all of you, and to see all our kiddos playing together again!
Please reach out to me if you’d like to rejoin daycare!

Hello community! Our limp noodle, is officially through his second surgery and going into his second week of no movement except going outside to potty! This means we are getting so much closer to being able to open up daycare again! Something I have been waiting for for so long❤️
He’s much stronger than when he had his first surgery, but we still can’t rush recovery. Taking week by week, and as soon as I get the all clear that he’s ready… it’ll be an official reopening!
I can’t wait to see you all, to kiss and snuggle those pups, and see friends reunions🥹

Happy Holidays to this beautiful community! I feel supremely lucky and grateful to have you in my life, and your little(and occasionally big) pups! I am so looking forward to seeing what 2024 brings, but for now, I’m sending love out to each of you!

Hey lovelies!
Jeez it’s been a longgg time since I’ve posted!
Iorek had his first shoulder surgery on Oct 2nd and has healed beautifully from that, and now that he’s healed, we move on to shoulder number two. His surgery is scheduled for January 9th, and then providing that he’s safely ready to go, 9 ish weeks later, I will FINALLY be reopening Delia’s Delightful Dogs, doors!
I can’t tell you how much I miss you all, and miss those feisty kiddos, and I cannot wait to be in daycare again, seeing their happy faces!
I’m sorry if it seems like I’ve fallen off the earth, I’ve been in the whirlwind of life, volunteering, getting really sick and getting Covid… and getting our home to places we want it, but most of all, being here to make sure Iorek is safely healing.
He misses his buddies terribly, and misses your love!

Guess who made it onto the telly and are now my local celebrity buddies? Ellie and her mother/therapy coach! Ellie has been a therapy dog for several years, and I’m sure has helped many people during her time. If you know Queen E personally, you know how special she is. Makes me so happy knowing she’s out there spreading her love! And it’s no different with Carla! Ellie’s whole family is very special to my heart!
