Sunday night, we finally located Hoolies original owner. We set up a time for him to come see Hoolie on Monday night, so we could get more of a background on him.
Due to unforseen circumstances he had to get rid of him and he gave him to someone he trusted to take care of him. Somehow between him giving him up and us getting him he was abandoned and tied up to a tree according to what we were told. We wanted to make sure he couldn't take him before doing his next meet and greet. Unfortunately due to his living situation he couldn't take him. He would love nothing more than to take Hoolie back home. It was good for both Dustin & Hoolie to have this quality time together ❤️
This is a friendly reminder not to judge people and their situations when they have no other choice but to give their fur babies up. In the mix of us trying to find Hoolie a home a few people passed judgment on Dustin. If you would have seen Dustin & Hoolie together the entire visit you would all understand. Dustin was extremely hurt by all the negative comments and almost didn't reply to our messages to come see Hoolie due to everyone's rude & unnecessary comments.
