Introducing Piper! We recently had the opportunity to rescue this girl from a bad situation and have been busy teaching her what it means to be a part of a loving family. Shes red and tiny and oh so cute. She adjusted really quickly and every day watch her blossom into what I think is the perfect combination of devotion and s***k. We adore her!

Funny story…Piper is almost two and more than capable of jumping on and off of the couch but for some reason she thinks she can’t get down by herself. The kids thought it was hilarious. 😂

A recent note and picture of sweet Frankie (formerly Cream Puff) after getting to her new home and meeting her new big sister.

“Frankie slept the whole ride home on me. She pooped while I boarded the plane so we walked straight back to the lavatory and washed her feet in the sink and changed her pad. 😂

We got home at 1:30 AM and she had water and food. Georgie was ready to sniff her and play…or run her over while she had the zoomies and panted with excitement. After she pooped we decided to crate her in the bedroom as we realized there was some more puppy proofing to do around the house. She fell asleep with my husband’s hand on her head inside the crate and slept until 7. She’s been chasing the kids around the table, napping and feeling less scared of Georgie and more playful. ❤️. We love her so much!!”

Lots going on around here with puppy development. Mamas are starting to wean. They will usually continue to nurse several times a day for as long as we will allow it but they are starting to take longer breaks outside of the “nursery” to be with us and have adult time with the other dogs. Puppies have all started eating solids. We feed puppy mush right now twice per day and some of the braver pups have already started sneaking kibble from their mamas bowls.

We’ve also begun litter training. You will notice our litter tray in front of the crate. Puppies are forced to walk through this mine field to exit their crate and will naturally start using it to potty outside of their sleeping area. It’s a messy time and requires lots of regular sweeping, mopping and bedding changes.

It’s so fun to watch them grow and learn new tricks!

Introducing Piper! We recently had the opportunity to rescue this girl from a bad situation and have been busy teaching her what it means to be a part of a loving family. Funny story…Piper is almost two and more than capable of jumping on and off of the couch but for some reason she thinks she can’t get down by herself. The kids thought it was hilarious. 😂

Pepper is our queen bee mama. Shes playful and stubborn and always good for a laugh. A couple of weeks ago she was injured and required stitches. Even wearing a cone she managed to rip some stitches out and need re-stitching. That’s when we introduced the surgical jumpsuit. We’ve all had a few good laughs at her expense walking around in a cone and her red suit all week. Grateful she’s starting to feel more like her silly (and aparently itchy) self again.

Pepper is the best playful Mama/Auntie. It’s so fun to watch them play.

First time outside tonight. They did so great. Aside from the fact that it was blazing hot and we had to come in after 10 minutes it was one of the most successful first outings I’ve ever had.

Well this was a first!

Poor Luca! This sweet boy had to spend a week at the boarder while one of his girl friends was in heat. He was telling me what a miserable time he had 😂

Three weeks old already! The infancy part of their puppy time is coming to a close. These guys will begin the weaning process in the next week or so. They won’t be totally weaned for a little while yet but solid foods are just around the corner.
