All these beautiful koi went to their forever ponds this week! Some are several hours drive away and were packed with pure oxygen for the long trips. Several Chinese High Banded Sharks have also found new ponds! With sincere gratitude, I thank all of our customers!

Last week we had the pleasure and honor to have Taro Kodama from Kodama Koi Farm look us up and visit our humble little operation since he was in town! It was so nice to get such encouragement from Taro with him being such a pillar in the koi community and his operation that supplies so many World wide koi enthusiasts! He has been a true inspiration and when I started out I would get my koi through their wholesale division.
Opportunities that were put before me have now moved me on to importing koi directly from Japan through Matsukura Koi Export and Carlos handling all the exporting. But I will always be in awe of the operation that Taro's father started and the family continues to make successful.

A friend (thanks Craig Rafferty!) sent this link showing Nagoshi Koi Farm harvesting some very large koi!! This is the main breeder I get koi imported from! He sells a lot of koi to other countries and I only know of one other dealer that imports his koi. But here you can see the quality he is able to produce! I am hoping to be able to bring in more higher quality koi later this year!

Look what came today!!! I was a bit nervous ordering these and wanted to wait until I recieved them but these are for our customer's that purchase a koi from us as a little token of our appreciation! Early morning delivery of food and a very nice domestic Kumonryu! Remember that Hakuna Matata Koi will deliver koi food and koi for free anywhere in the Phoenix and surrounding areas as well as Tucson. We even go up to New River, out to Buckeye and out to San Tan FOR FREE!!

Sorry late in posting and I couldn't do a live unboxing as it was late and even with my son and husband helping it took me about 4 hours! The poor koi were all a bit tired from their ordeal so ponds were salted for recovery and this morning lightly fed to make sure all were interested in food. If I see any that are not those are the ones I will keep an eye on as they adjust. Here is a video of the butterfly koi from Suda this morning! They are so very lively! A few tattered fins but to be expected sloshing around in a bag! Now they go through 30 day quarentine! After that they will be available for your consideration!
More koi were selected by Carlos of Matsukura Koi Export!!! These are from Nagoshi and we will have one more box of Tosai that Nagoshi will select. We will then have 5 boxes from each breeder! Now the fun begins of preparation! And paperwork! 😅
The selecting is in full swing! Carlos of Matsukura Koi Export selected some Gosanke for us at Nagoshi Koi. He will be selecting more of Non Gosanke in the next few days so stay tuned for more updates! Here is a sneak peek at the Gosanke!
