WC He’s Designed In Pink & Amy Haller 💙

Fun fact, Amy was the very first person to ever purchase a Saddlethreads shirt 💙 When I first moved to Pittsburgh and started law school, it had been several years since I had been able to show a Saddlebred. I had the “college blues” because, like most young amateurs, I basically had to stop riding saddlebreds during college. I joined up with Burin Stables started riding again, and I didn’t even think showing was a possibility. Lauren Burin and Amy Haller didn’t hesitate to not only offer me the opportunity to show, but to share their special heart horse, Vamoose, with me. Amy showed him at the big travel shows, I showed him locally, and together we qualified Moose for the first Hunter Country Pleasure World’s Championship. Amy won both classes at Lexington, and Moose was the first ever Hunter in the ring on the green shavings.

This year, Amy won the World’s Championship.

Amy and Lauren have been fighting for the Hunter division since “before it was cool,” and Burin Stables is absolutely the type of barn that makes up the heart and soul of the Saddlebred industry - kind, hard working horsemen who make riding possible for EVERYONE who walks in the door, whether your dream is the world show spotlights or just the privilege of sitting on a horse.
