I have grown up loving animals ever since I was a young girl, growing up with dogs, cats, a guinea pig, a bird, fish and horses. I have always felt that animals were a member of our family!

Over 8 years ago, I was asked to dog walk a friend’s dog named Brandy. Brandy was blind and her owner was blind, her owner loved Brandy tremendously. It was through my daily drop in visits with Brandy that I realized that I could care for people’s pets as a profession and I truly loved doing it!!! That was over 8 years ago and over the years, I have taken care of bunnies, kittens, older cats who needed medication, puppies who needed help with potty training, and dogs who were elderly and who were therapy pets. I have been there for pet parents in times of emergencies and I have been referred to their friends and asked to care for their pets when they moved to new homes!

I cared for my guinea pig, Snickers until he was over 8 years old, he outlived his life expectancy with exceptional care. I devote a lot of time and care daily to my severely arthritic rescue horse, Grace who I helped to save from being slaughtered. I am very active in horse rescue!

I currently offer drop in cat and dog sitting
30, 45 and 60 minutes

I currently offer dog walks for 30, 45 and 60 minutes depending on location

My service area is Center City, Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey

At this time, I have openings this fall, over Christmas, New Year’s, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah.

Did you know that animals help mental health?

They offer companionship, unconditional love, help to decrease loneliness and increase happiness! Pets such as dogs help to improve social interactions with others and caring for pets helps to foster a sense of responsibility to be present for an animal and their needs.

Animals are used in many therapeutic settings!
Dogs, cats, guinea pigs and miniature horses are all therapy animals! Many therapy animals are often so important in caring for those in need at hospitals, nursing homes, therapeutic riding facilities, schools and many other settings.

Take good care of yourself and your pet!
