The Long Island Reptile Expo will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Suffolk Federal Credit Union Arena (new name, same exact location) from 9am to 4p. Come see more than 185 tables worth of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, arachnids, and more!

Adults are $10, Children 7-12 $5, and Children 6 and under are free. College Students get 50% off with ID. Free parking!

Surprise! Today we had twin geckos hatch out! Both are happy and healthy and look so so similar. 4 total geckos out of 3 eggs today 😅 we usually hatch out a gecko when it rains but not normally like this. What should we name them? I wrote out the whole story in this Instagram post:

Making space for so many cool projects we have coming this year so take advantage while you can before we start putting them on MorphMarket! We will also have so many new butterfly frames and displays to choose from so you can knock out your Mother's Day shopping early!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and supported the vendors at the Oaks, PA Expo. Unfortunately, someone took it upon themselves to steal a gecko from our table. We take pride in our record keeping, lineage and tracking the progress of each of the animals we breed, so when we unpacked all of our geckos last night and put them into their respective, labeled homes, we knew one was missing.

I immediately knew who the person was. I was tired and at the table by myself for a moment when they walked up and I am almost positive they were watching me super awkwardly as they did it, playing it off and saying "wow, look at these" slowly cruising by the table after the quick pickup and stashing in/behind a black tote bag. I had a strange feeling and looked the table over, noticing a slightly more empty space at the far right corner of the table than I expected but figured I was just being paranoid, sometimes people carry their bags in a weird way, maybe my caffeine is wearing off.

Anyway, I thought this person should know that their gecko's parents are our Marley and Bernie, and that it hatched 8/23/2020. I have Marley's lineage too, but I think you've had enough for free at this point. It is so disappointing because we are happy to work with basically any budget. If you show a love for the animals, that you have researched them and know how to provide them a long, healthy life we will work with you to get you a pet. It's what we do and have done for 7 years now.

We pour our time into this hobby every day and to see that stolen is disheartening but we will be ok, and we will be back for the next show April 10th. I hope I see this person again at the next show. I have al vivid image of this person engrained in my memory now, mask or no mask I will recognize you. I hope you know how to take care of the animal you stole, I would hate to see an animal we produced during a pandemic and spent months caring for suffer at the hands of someone who has no idea what they are doing.

Again, thank you to everyone who came out and spent their hard earned money on our hard work and effort or even just stopped to have a conversation with us. It's people like you guys that make us love what we do, even when it's hard to.

Just a few short weeks away from the next Oaks, PA reptile show on February 13th. We will be bringing more Gargoyle Geckos, Crested Geckos and Framed/ Glass Display Butterflies just in time for last minute Valentine's Day gifts! Looking forward to seeing everyone there from 9am to 4:30pm.
