Our TMR trainers all attended the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society RMDS awards Ceremony! Several of our boarders also came home with awards. No pictures of Glenda, but she and her boys received several awards as well! Congratulations on a wonderful show season everyone!!

What a weekend for a few of our trainers, Andrea Osmond, Jessica Greer Dressage, LLC, Nicole Jones,and Glenda Needles at the 2023 RMDS CHAMPIONSHIPS this weekend! Several of our boarders were showing with them as well. You ladies did an amazing job and all looked beautiful!!! Congratulations to everyone!!!

ISO Volunteers for the RMDS Show this Saturday at TMR. Unfortunately, this is last minute, and I know summer is a uber-busy time, but I hope some community members might be interested in joining. RMDS members in getting some of their volunteer hours in.

The roles we need are:

1) AM/PM score runners - This job entails walking from the judge's booth to the office after each test to deliver the test for calculation. Good one for getting those steps in!

2) Scribe- Do you have decent handwriting (participants request if possible, be we aren't picky!) This person sits with the judge and notes what they say on the test for the rider's score. This is an amazing opportunity if you would like to practice seeing what the judge is looking for or, in general, to learn more about dressage.

3) Afternoon Bit checker - There is a guide with pictures available for the bit checker, so there is no need to be a bit expert. This person will make sure the rider is using legal equipment.

Volunteers are needed for the Foothills RMDS Spring Into Summer Show on Sunday, June 4th, hosted here at TMR. We still need a couple volunteers for the show on Sunday! No experience is necessary. We will provide lunch and a bag of goodies, and you get to enter a raffle for a gift card!

News has spread within our horse community that Re*****on Homes recently purchased Table Mountain Ranch (TMR) on May 3rd, 2023.

Edward Stone (Ted) and his two siblings owned TMR and much of the surrounding land for generations. In the early 2000s, Ted acquired his sister's interest, making him the majority shareholder in this particular property. Despite living across the world, Ted believed TMR was vital to Golden and our entire equestrian community. Unfortunately, Ted unexpectedly passed away in the summer of 2021. In light of this tragedy, his surviving brother and heirs opted to sell the property off-market as quickly as possible.

However, this sale will not affect the operations at TMR for the next 2-3 years. Our Barn Manager, Sherl Knight, will continue to manage the property until the last horse leaves. Therefore, we will remain open through April 30th, 2025, regardless of the number of boarders at that time. Further lease extensions may be possible depending on the zoning and permitting processes encountered by Re*****on Homes.

Events hosted by TMR will continue as planned. We are excited to host six Dressage shows organized by TMR and Foothills RMDS Chapter this summer. Our 2024 show season will occur as planned, and the 2025 show season will depend upon any further lease extensions.

Now that the sale process is complete, TMR is accepting new boarders. The initial dust has settled quickly, and waitlisted individuals will be contacted.

Although news of the sale has been heartbreaking, to say the least, we invite the community to enjoy Table Mountain Ranch while we remain its custodians. We’ve seen many stories and photos shared by community members and appreciate their support. We welcome individuals to haul in for lessons with our trainers, and availability will remain open for clinics and other equine-related events. We aim to conclude TMR’s 50-year run with many beautiful memories for Colorado’s equine community. It has truly proven to be a very special place.
