We thanked and processed a dozen quail today, then made some quail and noodle soup. Soooo good!!!!

Can you grow fodder in winter???? Yep, I did. It takes a bit longer to grow but worth it to see how happy they are to get their treat and helps with the cost of feed.
Why grow fodder??? Well, you can turn 50 lbs of seed into 200 lbs of feed and a great treat for your birds.
Can you feed them only fodder? No, the still need other nutrients in their diet, sticking to their game bird feed is important and offering fodder as a weekly treat is best.
