After 512 days, Grimm has finally been adopted! 💙 Join us in wishing him and his new dad a great start to a lifetime of happiness. We'll all miss him for sure, but we couldn't be happier for this sweetheart.

Our friend with the ruptured bladder has been dubbed "Joey Walnut". We're happy to report that he is recovering from his life-saving surgery! 🫶 He is still in the hospital but his future is looking much brighter thanks to the amazing hospital staff and all who have donated so far to his surgery. We have more to raise to reach our $8,000 goal and every single dollar helps! 🙏

💜 Stella has started to trust her friends at the shelter which is a big change from when she first arrived. With the help of a few dedicated volunteers and staff, we've learned that Stella is a lot of fun, will immediately climb into your lap if you sit with her. She is well-behaved but does have a lot of puppy energy and curiosity. She's a little insecure and would benefit from training and confidence building.

Princes first day of his new life

UPDATE Prince Prince is investigating his new home. He has gone off to rescue to search for his new forever home. Thank you to his handler Kim who worked with him non stop and was able to find the right place for him. Thank you to the Speranza rescue for giving him the chance he needed and believing that he deserved this, just like all of the dedicated volunteers believed that he deserved this. We cant wait to see him move forward with his life and get all the happiness he deserves! If anyone can send any donations to help that would be wonderful.

Gomez pupdate! ❤❤❤❤

PUPDATE Gomez is doing wonderfully. He had some tooth work done a few weeks ago and he has started playing a lot more with his toys. He's gained weight and looks so healthy. He was so excited to see me, almost as excited as I was to see him :) I got lots of kisses! This is what adopting is all about. I love seeing the new lives these animals have and the unconditional love they give. Thank you for adopting not shopping!

This is a courtesy page to help the animals that are at the Hamilton Township animal shelter in Mercer County. We are community volunteers who want to help these animals get adopted and/or reunited with their families. If you have questions please contact the Hamilton Township Animal Shelter directly. The phone number is 609-890-3550. If you find a lost animal or have lost your own pet and the shelter is closed, please call non emergency police number to report at 609-581-4000. If you have lost a pet it’s best to report it to the shelter and check the shelter in person daily to look for your pet.
