Finishing out our Veterinary Technician Week Spotlights, today we’re celebrating Keirstan! 💚 (featuring her dog, Lucy)

Keirstan has been with Aloha Animal Hospital since 2020.

When asked what she loves most about being a veterinary technician, Keirstan told us: “There are many, many things I love about my job. My favorite role within the many roles a technician has, is monitoring anesthesia for surgeries. What I love most about being a veterinary technician is being able to build relationships with our patients and their families.”

When not at work, Keirstan enjoys being with family and spending time with her many fur babies. She said she also enjoys baking as a hobby. 🧁

Juli has been in veterinary medicine for 33 years! Juli’s passion for this field shines through in her work every day.

Juli said her favorite things about her job include mentoring new graduates, constantly learning new things in the field, and having such a great team of co-workers!

Today’s Vet Tech Week Spotlight is shining on Emily! 💜 (Featuring one of our many sweet patients, Winnie!)

Emily has been apart of our Aloha team for about 2 years and in the veterinary field for 9 years. Ever since she was little she would go to work with her mom who is also a veterinary technician!

We asked Emily what she loves most about her job. She is especially passionate about senior dog appointments and client education. 🐶

In her free time, Emily enjoys taking her German shorthaired pointers and her Chi-weenie on walks. She also likes to go antique shopping.

Today we’re kicking off our Veterinary Technician Week Spotlights with Heather! (Featuring her rescue pup, Kassia)

Heather has been apart of the Aloha Animal Hospital team since 2013!!

When asked about her favorite parts of being a Veterinary Technician, Heather said:
"I enjoy the diagnostic side of veterinary medicine—uncovering the 'why' behind a pet’s symptoms. I also like educating clients and helping them understand their pets’ wellness and preventative care."

Outside of work, Heather enjoys Bible study, biking, puzzles, watching baking shows, and dog agility training. 🌴🐾

Last year, Maine C**n kitten Dexter came to see us for the first time. Fast forward to now and he’s double the size and so long that our technician Juli practically needs an extra arm to hold him! He is just as sweet as he is majestic! 😍

🌺🐾 Puppy Alert! Meet Archer & Harper!

We had double the cuteness at Aloha this past week when Archer and Harper came in for their very first check-up! These adorable mixed pups are recent rescues, full of wiggles, wonder, and puppy kisses.

They explored the clinic like pros and quickly won over the whole team with their sweet personalities. Our amazing technician Emily gave them all the snuggles (and maybe a few treats, too 😉). We're so excited to be part of their journey toward a bright and healthy future!💕
