This little guy was born at 343 days and unfolded greatly!
Bobbi passed her placenta and had him without any complications, she definitely seemed tired so we gave her some banamine for help.
This little guy has passed some of his meconium and is already trying to buck and run.
He doesn’t show to have a run stripe but he does have the tiniest of stars on his head and a little hind Sox!
Cant wait for this guys future !
This was one that was hard to keep a secret but I’ve been anxious and excited ! We have a bun in the oven! Bobbi is carrying a Flirtatious design baby for 2024!
We are past the 90 day mark and there looks to have a healthy amniotic sac and uterine wall. Keep us in your thoughts as we are not out of the blue. As we continue to put weight on her we will be praying everything else goes smoothly. !

Similar angles a year - ish apart.
Over the last year her and I both have gone through a lot ! I got her underweight and attempted to breed her because I knew I could put the weight on her. With three try we got her to catch the first year. Shortly after the loss of my child, she lost hers because she lost so much weight from a tooth abscess I had no idea about. (My fault for not checking her teeth) this mare who should’ve weighed 1200-1300lbs was probably barely 950lbs. and was not able to to maintain herself and a baby.
Over the winter I spent getting her and myself better. Everyday I’m still working to put weight on her but everyday I am reminded of how important it is to know your horse. Broodmare or not. Knowing horse anatomy and nutrition will always benefit your pocket-book and your horses health.
We’re still putting tons of weight in her but she is starting to look like a normal horse❤️

Mom is doing great as a first time mom and is being so sweet! This filly was kicking up a storm in her momma all way until she was born! And she came out wanting to run and buck !

We ran phantom in yesterday 45 minutes before his new home showed up and when we got him in he let me walk right up to him. Halter him. And take him to the trailer with his new home. He wasn’t a fan of the high jump of the trailer but with a little motivated he got in and unloaded at his new home 7 hours away !

Home stretch for cream soda ! No more proud flesh and just this little area left ! If she wasn’t so accident prone I’d leave her unwrapped but it got most of the day exposed to air than some good cleaning and a dry wrap ! She is now being ridden and we are taking it slow and straight. No crazy circles until it’s fully healed ☺️ blessed for a full recovery and minimal scaring!

Post op day…. I lost count.
These where take after our venture out and some scrubbing on my end. It’s healing up really well and we’re dry wrapping it now just to keep it mud free! Can wait for dry days so she can have her leg back !

There’s only one way to get horses in shape. And that’s ride. 🐎 This was cream sodas first outing since her injury. I’ve been riding Amber as much as I can while Ryder naps, though sometimes it’s good to get them out in the field. I don’t stray too far from the house so she mainly gets rode in the muddy arena. Ryder was with grandma today so I was able to sneak in a field ride 😁
Ride 13 got in the books and on video 🤣 first time loping her and she handled it well considering the ground is not accurate. It was a busy day so it was a short ride. *ride continued after video stopped* Moonshine
They are bound to test you. Ride 12 did not go as planned. Today and yesterday you could tell she was off and a little sore (as do most colts get when they are started) she took it personally. In the end and after some hard work on her end she learned that no matter how tired we get we need to keep going. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll be the first person to give my horses a break. However when they are put through colt starting boot camp they have to almost earn that break after there 30 days at least. We’ve had 12 consistent rides through this last weeks weather. So weather was not the issue in this case.
