Houndtown "Your Dogs Farmhouse" will offer 1 wk free boarding for approved adopter! We can also exchange doggy daycare instead of boarding on Tues and Thursday's!!

After years and years of use, my galvanized dog pool is rusting out ..I pressure washed it but that didn't help ...so I bought this splash pad.. just to give try...not a huge investment ..
Can't wait to see how it goes...

Meanwhile I'm wondering about painting the galvanized tub...if that would help or just be a nightmare if it peels...
Any advice appreciated

I know he does the I don't have legs trick on Grooms by Taylor Blake lazy dog makes the groomer work harder....(1st pic)

I didn't want to cut him but I can't keep him out of the water and that creates mildewy ..Funky smell coupled with slobber mats..He'll be back to his gorgeous self after dog days of summer has gone.

Ya'll know I had Arthur a Bouvier , french multitasking farm dog straight from West Minster being a show dog retiring with me at the farm from original and co owner Peggy Dupriest, he was my King Arthur...
He also was the warden here..everyone respected and loved him ..(Gabby Girl the birthday boxer this week was his woman ...he slurped her ears til the final visit).

Well, I now officially keep 2 bouviers (2 separate families) and they are BOTH here now..

This ABSOLUTELY STUNNING work of art is new Houndtowner "Sophie" ... you would never know she is 11 years old.

Is it wrong I want to keep her forever ...

He has also been my client since 2001 ..OVER 22 YEARS!
Has been my best friend, confidant, counselor ....
We have been through ups and downs in EVERY WAY..

Karla Haas the founder ..the name of her amazing HEALTHY HUMAN GRADE DOGGY CUISINE came from a chocolate Labrador that chose her for his safe place to live "Rudy." After a few years, Rudy became ill... As a Vet Tech , rescuer , and now Houndtown owner.. Thousands of times I have instructed or instructed you guys to feed bland food for tummy upset.. That is exactly what happened at Rudys vet, Karla was instructed by her veterinarian "bland diet" and so Rudy's Cuisine was born!!! As the food girl at various vet clinics... I became a teaching tech for prescription foods..Science Diet, Royal Canine, and Purina brands. This girl is living out one of my dreams!!! But alas life puts you where you're supposed to be.. Littles doing the play thing inside . Dallas, Daisy, Bailey, and Cooper rain rain go away...give us a day like yesterday

Oftentimes folks wonder what I do with all these dogs in the rain... So in rounds they play inside.. Dobro and Bailey this is actually their first time playing together.. Bailey is probably about a year old.. But big sister Mia (weimaraner the best gal ever)has been coming to Houndtown for about 7or so years...

UPDATE ON HOW MY #8 hole in my head is doing

Here are 3 of my eight dogs...... They're at a totally different yard and building. They have not seen me Set seven a m this morning... My poor dog's when it's Weeks like spring break they truly get the brunt end because they are last... Everybody else comes first... And they get what mama has left over at the end of the night.. Which is basically exhaustion .. So I present 18 year old Betsy, 2 and half year old Brandon and 12 year old Mona Lisa.. Down to 9 kids plus my 8 tonight... 17 kids still total ...but tonight feels like a day off....Whew...😵‍💫🥵😳
