Lucky is another recent dog that has had such an incredible transformation! He was adopted from the Herkimer County Humane Society and found owners that are very committed to him! He is a nice dog but when we started he had some real struggles with other dogs. His owners trusted our process, put in the work, and today he is seriously a different dog. Thank you for sticking with him!

Today, we remember the brave souls of 9/11, including the incredible rescue dogs who worked alongside first responders.

These brave animals worked tirelessly alongside rescue teams, helping to search for survivors and providing comfort to those in need.

Their contributions deserve to be remembered, not just for what they did in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, but for the lasting impact they’ve had on the world of working dogs.

Kylo just headed home after spending 2 months with us for long term boarding. He is a fantastic dog with a solid temperament which made his stay with us a breeze. See you next time Kylo!

Here is a small glimpse into the progression of Teddy! There is so much detail in training dogs like him. Bringing a dog that has a cloudy thought process into a place of very clear communication is key. Today Teddy was in his first group class with 12 other dogs and did great! There is still work left to be done, but we are opening up an entire new world to this dog. There could be a post just like this with 5-6 different dogs we’re training that are also making an amazing turnaround. Thank you to all of the owners that listen to instruction and put in the work with their dogs to accomplish all of this.

If I told these people when we met that they would be in a group class with 19 dogs they would have said that I was crazy. But throughout our 1 on 1 lessons we have laid the foundation and built confidence in both owner and dog, along with control in all situations. Now in group class we test and refine their new found education. Great job today by everyone!

Hero 🐶
Hero came in because his owner went to jail. After redeeming him, she walked him back in the next day claiming he was “too wild”. 😳
He is 8 months old! Hero is also deaf. 😢
Hero is a complete treasure! He is good with absolutely everything! He participated in a charity walk and loved the company of all the dogs and people. 🥰 Hero weighs about 50 pounds.
