A huge THANK YOU to those that came out on Friday night for our last roping of the season. And to those that came to any of the others this year!! We really truly appreciate you coming to spend your Fridays with us. We ALWAYS had a great time. I RARELY had messes to clean up. Everyone seemed to always be having a good time. We are blessed to share this arena with you. 🥰❤️ and Spectators, we always love having you. We appreciate your cheers, smiles, laughs.. and we love sharing our sport with you. ❤️
NEXT year, we will have lots of freshies 🐃!! We plan to have even more fun next year. Stay tuned for details!

We had a GREAT turn out for last nights roping! 121 Teams! We paid out over $3,700 in cash and prizes. I also must mention: Ropers, I personally want to thank you all, for being kind and gracious to our help. That warmed my heart to hear how appreciated they felt after last night's event. 🥰❤️

Took a couple ladies to a local Dressage show this past Saturday! Audrey Jackson hadn't been in the dressage arena in awhile and she wanted to see how her scores might've improved since she's put in so much more work. They certainly did!🥰💪💪❤️ Kate is back after having her second child and battling soundness issues with her horse Mac last year. This was her FIRST EVER dressage show. They..did.. AWESOME. it was the perfect, stress free, opportunity to ease their way back into the show ring. ❤️ She got WONDERFUL feedback from the judges and scored VERY well on several tests. Jean just got cleared to return riding ONE week ago, after a knee replacement surgery. She also hasn't shown in some time, and with only a week to prepare (I kept her horse in shape while she was recovering 💪❤️) she and Byron did a phenomenal job. 🥰💪❤️ Lots of people were glad to see that pair out and about again.

Great advice from our friends at Lone Tree! Heat stroke is serious. For animals and people. Take care of them, and yourselves. 🙏🙏❤️

It’s going to be HOT 🥵🔥 the next few days!
Make sure to ride early (or late), avoid hauling when possible and consider a spa day/ground work day instead of a full ride 🫧

I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

My heart aches for this poor sweet lady.
I met Alexa for the first time this spring. She is one of the main grooms at Captivate and she came to body clip several of our horses. She is SO kind, hard working, and wonderful with horses (& dogs!). She told me about saving up $$ for a new car and or house (my memory is awful) with her fiance. 6 weeks ago I saw they got married up in Mackinaw. ❤️❤️
And I just learned, her new husband tragically lost his life yesterday 🥺😔🙏 I feel so sad for her, his family, their friends.... a new young couple that is suffering major tragedy... help if you are able. If not. They need all the prayers.
