It is with a heavy heart that we announce effective immediately, we have made the decision to close. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and make out business a success over that last few years. We will miss all of you and wish you the best!

As some of you know, back in March the Pampered Pom truck sustained body damage. We were fortunate at the time that we didn’t have to close for repairs immediately. However, after months of negotiation, a settlement was finally reached with the insurance company and we are able to begin the repair process. We are having to make some tough decisions. We were given the choice of closing down for 4 to 5 weeks at once, which is not feasible, or we could break it up into one week increments over the next several months.

Next week we will begin rescheduling appointments to allow for the repairs to happen. We want to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we navigate this situation.

What does this mean in short?
We will be closing the books for new clients for the remainder of the year. As we learn what weeks we need to close, we will be contacting those affected to reschedule their appointments.

Some of you have already met Amanda for those that haven’t here is a little info:
Amanda comes to us with over 8 years grooming experience. Getting her start while living in Hawaii, she brought her grooming skills back home to Oregon after the end of her husband's military service. Since finding her passion in grooming she has expanded her training with over 35 hours of continuing education and worked on mastering canine structure through AKC and UKC show handling. When she isn't grooming or at a dog show Amanda enjoys camping, baking and spending time with her siblings.

There has been some confusion around the new reminders going out so we wanted to clear things up a little bit. We added a reminder 5 days prior to the appointment to give some wiggle room for cancellations to be filled. We do require a 72 cancellation notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. The confirmation text with the scheduled time will still go out 3 days prior, per usual. This allows us to make routing adjustments in the event of a cancellation. Please note your appointment is not guaranteed till 3 days prior to the appointment. We do offer latch key service if you can’t be home during the appointment for recurring clients. We wanted to take this time to thank all our clients who have continued to support this small family owned business, thanks to our community we have been able to continue providing quality care throughout the COVID pandemic. We have, however, had to adjust our hours down from operating full time to only two days a week. Going forward we will require all new clients to pay a non-refundable deposit to hold their spot to ensure that we are maximizing our availability for those most in need of service. Established clients who have scheduled their appointments on an on-going basis will be exempt from this policy change.
