🍁First September Market!! 🍁

❤️Thank you to everyone for the condolences on my parents passing. It’s been quite a trip, both physically and emotionally and experienced all the seasons from snow on Table Mountain to a hot day at the beach! And everything in between.

☀️ Thankful for my time on Cape Town!

😊 Here are a few pics of my beautiful hometown, feeling inspired by all the amazing markets and nurseries and things I have experienced here, remembering my parents and my life here.

For those who haven’t heard yet. Dad and Mom both passed away in August - 2 weeks apart. They were married 61 years and lived 59 of those in their beloved Cape Town❤️

🏡 They lived their last few years at Helen Keller in Pinelands and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the love and care from the amazing staff there that they received.

❤️They were a beautiful example of what marriage should be in all stages of life. I was able to be with mom the last week of her life and it was really sweet how different people came through the day she passed and said their goodbyes to her and told me sweet stories of them and how well they cared for each other. It’s a wonderful testimony to pass on to my own family and such a great example to others.

❤️Thank you for those who have reached out, if I haven’t gotten back to you it’s been a lot to process and take care of all the details of the two of them passing so close together.

Neither of them wanted a formal funeral and their ashes will be scattered in Cape Town.

If you would like a physical copy of this for yourselves or someone else I may not know who remembers them, message me and I can get one to you if you are in Cape Town (I can PUDO or meet you somewhere), I am not here much longer. Or mail to you when I get back to the States.

🗓️ THE YEAR THAT STILL IS...

Most years just seem busy - mostly good busy, but some are harder than others.

🕰️ I do remember a day way back when I actually used to get bored haha!

💥 But boredom is also not bad - its allows you to think, to process, to allow creativity to bubble to the top-especially with young kids

🫣Nowadays I have to purpose to be still, to put the phone away, shut the tv off and JUST BE, so much trying to grab your attention and distract you

In those times the Lords voice gets through - the healing happens and the solutions and answers to prayer ARISE

I am BLESSED
I am LOVED
I was CREATED for a purpose by my HEAVENLY FATHER

❤️DAILY I have to chose to walk in it, no matter the struggles, the pain, the joy, the fun - He works it all together for my good because I love Him, and He has called me by NAME and has a unique purpose for my life that ends in spending ETERNITY with Him, because of the sacrifice of Jesus on my behalf

I am entering a NEW and HARD season - never before navigated (by me) its scary but I know I am not going there alone

🚤 This weekend we were blessed with some AMAZING community - a fun and restful day outside of what we normally do

We talked a little shop but mostly visited and enjoyed each others kids and families

For all our years of SELF EMPLOYMENT these last few have been with with our MARKET COMMUNITY and now our Kangen Water Collective COMMUNITY - Entrepreneurship is not something you have to navigate on your own like we did for so long!

🌼 Bloom where you are planted, know that hard comes, but it also goes and life is about SEASONS - love those who come and go WELL, some will stay, a lot won’t but the ones that do are with you for a LIFETIME
