It’s official, moving day is here! We are relocating to Hollister today, and cannot wait until we have a HUGE backyard for all the pups to play in. See you soon!

Pyro says “What?!? We are officially FULLY booked for boarding for the Christmas holiday?” We have just a few spaces left for New Years Eve/NY, but we are closed for drop offs and pick ups 12/31 and 1/1, so we can enjoy some quiet family time (plus our furry guests).

We are full this holiday weekend, and are happy to have some familiar faces, as well as some newbies. Just a reminder, many pets and other animals behave differently during the loud fireworks. Some tips that we’ve found help keep our guests, as well as our own dogs more comfortable during this often stressful holiday:
-make sure your pet is microchipped and wearing up to date tags
-exercise them early in the day, before the festivities begin.
-keep them inside, and if they have to potty, take them in the back yard, leashed.
-close all windows, and turn on the AC or fans.
-play a loud movie (action movies are best, since they drown out the “booms”) or music
-if crate trained, give your dog a chew and put them in a dark crate so they feel secure.

Last night, we got our final kisses from Heidi, one of our very sweetest boarding dogs. She and her family are moving across the country today, to be closer to family. To say we are going to miss that sweet girl, is an understatement! Safe travels girl, we already miss your excitement and cuddles.

Remember to keep your pets safe this July 4th! Keep them indoors, wearing their collar and tags with updated information, microchipped, and close your windows and play a loud movie, to drown out the fireworks. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
