A little back story.I have always worked with animals. I initially wanted to be a veterinarian, but I soon learned it wasn’t for me. Either way, I didn’t want to quit working with animals. The clinic I was working at worked with local rescue groups. It broke my heart seeing the terrible condition some of these babies were in. Also, being a volunteer at BARC I knew that the pets chance of being adopted if they looked “ugly” were very slim. So I asked the coordinator of the rescue group if it would be okay if I could groom the dogs even though I had no experience. I also asked the Dr I was working for if he could give me permission to do so on my time off. Not only did he let me use his facility, but he let me use the tools he had. Fast forward, I got my license when I was pregnant with my oldest, then became a SAHM. Fast forward 2 yrs I got my name registered and started up again. It’s been a journey with a lot of lessons. I’m grateful to be able to work from home and be a mom all at once. I’m manifesting to open my very own grooming salon by the end of this year. ✨🐾#doggrooming#dog#houston#groomerlife#petgroomer
