📣6/28 UPDATE: BARC gave Escolar another day! Let’s not waste this gift of time and keep this sweet pup safe! He has until 𝟭𝗣𝗠 𝗪𝗘𝗗𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟲/𝟮𝟵 to get a hold.
🚨Excellent Escolar is set to die‼️ He’s on the list & needs a rescue hold by 𝟏 𝐏𝐌 on Tuesday, 6/28 or they will euthanize after 2 PM. 😔🐾 Please contact the page if you can foster.

6/24 Stray | Male | Alaskan Husky Mix | 4Y | 51lbs | HW -
⭐️ Poor Escolar is confused at the shelter. It looks like he could’ve possibly had an owner due to the collar still around his neck. He has two shelter notes from the same day that could not be more different. One claims he is showing teeth and one claims he’s neutral and easy to leash. Unfortunately volunteers weren’t able to meet this guy, but he must be confused in the shelter no matter what. He’s a beautiful dog who’s heartworm negative so hopefully we can get him out!
📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬
6/25 ➡️ Easy to leash in kennel, walked out on loose leash, did light muzzle and he stood still for work up. Remained neutral the whole time.
6/25 ➡️ Approching kennel dog was sitting in the front of the kennel i slightly opened the door to atttempt to leash he started to air snap started to lunge ang growl,showing teeth, at leash i kept attempting to leash i offered treats he was not interested he started to scream and bite the leash. I went to ask another ACT for help then we decided that we would attempt to double leash him. after a few min we were able to leash him we walked him into his clean kennel and for safety purposes we left leash inside kennel and removed with the leash remover
