-Proven Male Northern Blue Tongue Skink he's an orange crush produced by Lizard Cafe and was my breeder male.
- Pet Only Australian Barking Gecko, his problem is his acorn shaped tail which doesn't affect his day to day life and makes him look like a true k**b tail.
-2 Green Iguanas, they get big know what you're getting.

Happy ! Reptiles play such an important part in our local ecosystems because they fill almost every role, like the smallest lizard being food for everything else to the biggest alligator keeping large animal populations in check. These animals should be respected and admired so today I want to highlight a few Texas natives.

🐊 American Alligator
(Alligator mississippiensis)
- One of 2 native crocodilians to the United States, American Alligators were once pushed to the brink of extinction but due to conservation efforts by the government they are now abundant and of least concern.

🐍 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake
(Crotalus atrox)
- Rattlesnakes favorite prey are small mammals such as mice and rats making them great pets control.

🐍 Southern Copperhead
(Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix)
- Copperhead venom plays a vital role in treating breast cancer.

🐢 Alligator Snapping Turtle
(Macrochelys temminckii)
- The Alligator Snapping Turtle is the heaviest freshwater turtle in the world and their population is currently struggling to rebound due to heavy over harvesting during the 1900s.

I wanted to do a quick highlight on some amazing geckos that people don't really know about. Meet the Riverine leaf tail gecko (Phyllurus amnicola), this gecko is a leaf tailed gecko native to Australia. They have a very small range only being found at Mount Elliot in Bowling Green Bay National Park in northeastern Queensland where they can often be found on rocks and trees. Unlike their Madagascar counterparts (the Uroplatus genes), Australian leaf tails lack toe pads and rely on their claws to hold on to surfaces.
