Meet our new foster Sam. He is a boxer mix & 4 months old. He has had his first round of shots and is now looking for his furever home. He is create trained and we are potty training him, which he has done very well so far.

Have you seen spots on your dogs tummy?? They almost look like ring worms, but they are really Black Fly bites.

Roxanne has had them, Robert & I weren’t sure what it was. Now we know. They almost look like small bees.

Here are some ways to get rid of black flies:
Use insect repellent: Apply products like DEET or citronella oil every few hours.
Use fly tape: The sticky substance traps and poisons the flies.
Use fly traps: Hang sticky traps on or near houseplants at soil level to trap adult fungus gnats.
Use biological control: Introduce predators or parasites into the environment. For example, green lacewings and ladybugs eat fly larvae, while parasitic wasps lay eggs in fly pupae.
Use natural predators: Tiny insects are the natural enemy of flies, but never bother people or animals.
Cover garbage: Use a lid that fits tightly on your garbage can to prevent fruit flies from entering and breeding.
Clean up: Wipe down counters and appliances with a disinfectant wipe to remove any leftover human food that may attract flies. Clean up any spills or messes to drain flies from making them breeding grounds.
Avoid overwatering: Refrain from overwatering to avoid excess humidity in the substrate and around lower branches.
Cover the substrate: Cover the substrate with 1 cm of diatomaceous earth to stop black flies from settling and reproducing on the soil.

We need taxpayers money to help support Shelters and Rescues in order to help abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Our shelters are full and hundreds of dogs and cats get euthanized daily. Never to get a chance to know real love 💕.

Hey Hey everyone 🙎‍♀️ I hope you all survived the rain.

Need your help, My daughter has a dog that the owner left when he moved. She can’t keep her cause this dog doesn’t like cats at all.
She seems to be a Shepherd / Lab mix. She’s probably about a year/ two years old. Unsure if she has been spayed or not. And a course she hasn’t been vetted. Do you know of any rescues that could take her?
She is so sweet!!!!

Please help her get into a good home.

Welcome to the HOT summer weather. Please protect your dogs!!! If your going to walk your dog, do it at the coolest times of the day. The pavement/sidewalks get very hot and can burn their paws.

If you can’t walk on the hot pavement, they can’t either. Remember they can’t tell you it’s hot, their hurting.

Also be sure to have lots of water or ice available to them. Stop and give them shade. You can’t stand the heat and neither can they!!!

Bo is ready to find his forever home. He is about 3 1/2 y/o weights 68 lbs and up to date on all his shots. He is a inside boy that loves everyone. He is house trained & create trained. He knows what out of the kitchen is, go to bed and will stay in his kennel with the door open while you fix his meal.

Please do not chase this girl for her safety! She will run directly into traffic if you attempt to catch her. She is not staying in the same area for ACOs to properly set our dog traps. With citizens trying to capture her, all it does is make her run. We cannot catch her and will only be able to capture her with a dog trap. For this to work, she needs to remain in an area for traps to properly work. If you see her, you set food out to see if she remains in the area. If she does, contact us and we will bring traps out.

***We need YOUR help by NOT CHASING her. You will not capture her and could send her into danger!***

This morning Loki suffered a seizure and had to be taken to the vet. This was extremely hard for Robert and my sister to watch Loki and not know what was going on.

The vet has shed so much light on Loki’s overall condition. His eyes in different directions, his chopping at the air and now his unsteadiness on his feet. All signs of seizures.

He is doing ok after being given some meds to help him. The vet will check on him tomorrow & if not better will possibly have to be admitted for monitoring.
Please Pray that he gets better. We want Loki to have the best life he can have!!

In February 2021 Luna was dumped in a wooded area and rescued by my brother in law. We took Luna in due to a limp in which she had been hit by a car.

Luna was adopted by my granddaughter & son in law. She had to have her right back leg amputation at the hip. I got to see her today and she looks so good and happy!!!

Don’t tell Luna she only has 3 legs cause she gets around & runs like she has 5!!! Miss BEAUTIFUL

I need someone that understands cattle dogs!! Loki paces, nips at the air & barks at the air. He’s fixed, but has had no house training at all. He is learning that real quick as well as creat training. He can get aggressive at times.

He is looking for a forever home that understands his bread.

It was my decision. ❤️
I knew what I was getting myself into.
Nobody made me,I knew I’d be tied down somehow. … care for them, feed them, walk them.
It doesn’t matter what the weather is or if I’m in the mood or not.
I promised them that as long as they were with me I will give them everything, take care of them and when they are sick I will take them to the doctor. That they are my babies. ❤️
I knew my purse would be tighter, my clothes covered in dog hair, and my stuff could be ruined, but that was my choice that I made.
Not saying it’s always been that way but it’s worth it.
I can never be mad at them.
The items can be replaced, carpet can be cleaned, my clothes can be washed.
What can’t be replaced, however, are those sparkling eyes that are so happy to see me when I come home that they fall over jumping on me. 🥰 It doesn’t matter if I’m gone for 5 mins or 5 hours. Their affection and unconditional love are irreplaceable. ❤️
The times that they hear me cry or feel my sadness they come poking me with their cold noses and licking me with their slobbery tongues. Always making me laugh and feel loved immediately. ❤️
You don’t even notice the years fly by. Eventually their faces turn grey, movement slows down, they no longer are able to jump when I get home but the excitement is still the same.❤️
Then one day the light starts to fade from their sparkling eyes, they stop going for long walks, and their days are spent laying next to me resting. We may have to go more often to the doctor. I may have to clean up accidents more often.
I wanted this when I decided to bring them into my life, I wanted childhood, youth and old age with all it’s beauties, happy moments and even the worst days with all it’s grudge.
There is not a single moment that I regret!!! I took charge of them when I took them in until the day I have to let them go. 😪
My dogs will never have a new owner, will never end up in a rescue or at a shelter. I’m not moving if they can’t come with me!!! The person who would make me give them up isn’t born yet and never will be. They are part of my life, my family and will stay!!!
I have taken over this. From the first to the last day.
Until Death do us part!!! ❤️
