This, right here, is what I live for!!! The message bellow is about a dog reactive Cane Corso named Chef that we took on a few weeks ago. As you can see we've been desensitization him to other dogs and teaching the owners how to gain his confidence in their decisions on the walk. Training is so much more than just obedience, repetition, and patterns. Most of the time it's relationship building so the dog learns they can trust your process and that even in intense situations they can trust you decision making. Training is ALWAYS happening with every interaction. Who being taught what when you interact?

We can't beleive that sweet Oren is graduating from Intermediate Obedience already! He's been amazing through this process and we've just scheduled Advanced Off-leash Obedience coming soon! Stay tuned! This boy will do amazing things!

I love that moment in the training package that the owners realize they are I'm charge and can enjoy training their pup!

Chef learned today that polite behavior is rewarded while impolite behavior has consequences. What you can't see in that sit is that there is a cat less than three feet away and our sweet Chef came in for reactivity! Shelby Vangerud and Justin Vangerud are truly the heroes here. They have followed instruction to a perfect T and it is paying off. Well done guys! It's only up from here.

Chef has working on sit with distraction and showing us that sometimes a package adjustment to shape drive is necessary. It's all about listening to the dog and catering their needs.

Intermediate obedience with Oren (Crystal Matheson - Flores) with advanced, offleashe obedience upkeep with Chance side by side. Chance already has advanced obedience trained in, but he served as and amazing distraction to proof Orens obedience.

Oren and mom had their first go home lesson! I always love when I see the pup's start to realize they have to be polite and obedient with their owners too... not just me. It's a true joy empowering the owner with consistent communication that I've established with their dog.

One of our training goals for Oren is for him to calmly be able to spend time with his family at pet friendly restaurants... So we get to take a field trip today!! Also, did you know King's BierHaus- League City has a pet friendly patio!??! Yall should check it out sometime! They've been awesome!

Bella had confidence training session number two yesterday evening. She learned that she can trust her owners in unfamiliar situations and that her poor choices have consequences on the walk. She also learned to walk quite nicely on leashe!

Day two of day training for Oren at Furry Heroes Dog Training. We worked on manners with other pups, we continued leashe, door and kennel manners, and we introduced duration in the command sit. Hey is such a sweet pup and sp eager to learn and please!

Bella had her first confidence building session yesterday; in which she learned she can be rewarded for polite behavior and that some behavior will not get her what she wants. We could all see her brain working as she walked around to people in the puppy circle.

I can wait to see this sweet girl blossom into a new dog over time as she learns.
