DOG RESCUERS IN CLEVELAND TEXAS DROWING

Please donate if you can every penny will go to Brat Hilton and Lisa Hilton to be used for the urgent care, or rebuild of rescuers in the flooded area. This will be months of rebuilding, and Hurricane Season starts in less than a month.

This young dog has already had one litter, and is in heat…she hangs out at the laundrymat and the neighborhood near by.

Anyone want to help sponsor, spay, and a year shot of heartworm prevention?

Bentley has had such a long journey to just find his happy ending! He was adopted as a puppy from a high kill city shelter, then found as a stray, but owners never claimed him…he was picked up by a horrible rescue (Alaina Rosenblatt) that failed him in so many ways it should be criminal!!! He was turned in to a city kill shelter by the trainer the rescue abandoned him at and the “trainer” told them he needed to be euthanized for behavior!!! Thank God the shelter saw his true soul and fought to find him a new rescue for 5 long months. He then went to boarding where he was crated for long hours, then adopted by a crook…then surrendered again (to absolutely no fault of his) to another rescue….his true rescuers!!!!!!!!! He had been adopted, but it was just not a good fit and he was returned…again!!! Please help support this amazing family and rescue to continue to spoil Bentley with great food, toys, and affection until his final, and perfect forever home can be found. If we all donate $10 we can provide for his care.

We got tagged in so many dogs stuck outside in this deep freeze: No one needs to tell you how bad Cleveland Tx is for dogs, cats, or the poor humans that just can’t drive down the road without seeing pregnant strays, injured/dying dogs/cats, and the endless yards full of extremely neglected family pets 😭💔

These rescuers are truly battle worn, and go out every day to face the absolute hopeless. The least we can do is help build a few houses for them to put out for strays, tethered dogs, or help out the rescues that always need one more spot!

Update on this sweet girl 🌺 Millie is doing great but has a long road of recovery 🙏🏻 She’s settled in nicely with her foster and is on her way to love & healing ❤️‍🩹

My last two puppies are adopted in Seattle and leave Thursday. Thank you to everyone who has supported the hundreds of puppies that have gone thru my house (Aliesha) I truly could not have saved one without the generous support of all of you guys! Sadly, it's a half of a drop in the Ocean. The ONLY solution is large free spay/neuter events.. please, please, please continue your support for The Empty Shelter Project-Texas!!!! They (and other large scale free events) are the ONLY hope of we want to save dogs/cats from suffering! SAVE THEM BEFORE THEY ARE BORN!

We rushed this 6month old sweet baby girl to the vet this morning. She is very sick and is severely emaciated as well as anemic. She only weighs 15# and her gums are gray in color. UPDATE from vet: She has a fracture that has already healed on her femur, right above the knee. She is severely anemic and weak. Bloodwork could not be done due to the anemia, her veins are so dry. She will stay overnight at the vet. They have her on a heating pad and feeding her little doses every hour. She is not out of the woods yet 🙏🏻 HUGE Thank you to K-9 Angels Rescue-Houston for quickly stepping up to help save this sweet girl. ‼️PLEASE HELP US HELP HER BY SHARING/DONATING TOWARDS HER MEDICAL CARE‼️ Houston, Tx

Our Story

It all started with our President and founder, Aliesha Medley, making a post on Facebook; “I have some time between construction projects and want to build a few dog houses to give out to dogs on chains." It began with a hope of building 10 dog houses, and soon we had a name, Huts 4 Mutts, and a vision. From that first day our mission and goals snowballed, and despite being initially worried that we would have a hard time finding dogs in need.. We were soon proved wrong and flooded with requests to help many suffering dogs.

There have been growing pains, mostly from just not having a working model to guide us, but over time we have learned some important lessons about the dogs we work with, the residents in these neighborhoods, and the type of attitude essential for our volunteers to maintain. We have a deep driving desire to help these long suffering dogs, and will continue to work on their behalf weather rain, snow, or blaring heat. Our vision and goals grows every day and we continue to strive to do more, help more, and reach more.

Please note that on this page we like to keep things “positive”, even though it is not easy in the face of some of these horrific situations we encounter. We too feel the rage and depression caused by what these loving dogs must endure, however nothing is accomplished by lashing out with rage. We are just pushed further away from these dogs, no longer able to help them.

So we here at h4m have decided to focus on what we can do, instead of fixating on all the bad things we have no control over.
