These kittens are no longer available. I got word tonight that Momma cat moved her babies somewhere else, and no one knows where. I’m hoping that she moved them to a safe place. Thanks for those who shared.

We have a friend who found these kittens. They heard noises and went to investigate and found that momma cat had given birth to these babies. Momma cat is staying but they need homes for these kittens. Estimated to be around 2-3 weeks old. If you’re interested in adopting one, or both, let is know. If you can’t adopt, please share so that we can get them homes. Adoption fees will apply.

Today is our boy’s birthday, mister Samuel James Garfield Soto. Also known as Sam or Samy around here. He turns the big 1-5 today. We got Sam when he was 10 weeks old from Houston CAPS and he has grown so much since he could fit in my hand. He is always the snuggler around here and loves hugs and sleeping on you. Hope for more years to come Sam.

A year ago yesterday we caught our 4 kittens from Mollys second litter and took them all to get fixed along with our little Dottie. A year ago today is when we brought them home and to this day we still have Luke and Emjay. Adventurous and Pebbles got adopted out. Emma was missing at the time and so was Molly. We have found Emma and Molly since.
A Year with these kittens. DoB 7/10/21
Emjay is our  curiosity is going to kill you cat. She got electrocuted earlier this year and tries to always do things that even a human should not be doing.
Luke was the evil orange cat with red eyes outside that would not have nothing to do with strangers when outside. Now he is the most loving and sweet boy since we brought him home from getting fixed. He really is one of the best cats around here.

Emma has started to adjust well, no petting yet. She has learned to use the community bowl and water dish as well. She comes in the mornings for wet food breakfast and has been trying to sleep on the bed with the others at night. She’s adjusting but still taking time. I can say one thing she’s progressing faster then Marmalade ever did.

Around here the cats get a morning prayer before breakfast. Out of the ones we have here this is only half and this half are the only ones who come for wet food.

Emma is starting to show herself more around the house. Once she is rehabbed back to be a social inside cat she will be up for adoption. If anyone is Interested. She was born 7/10/2021. I do believe it’s going to take some time before she’s ready for any new home. We are still working on her sister Emjay and she’s been since us since December.

Here’s Sam. He’s the old man around here and ours. Not up for adoption. 14 years old.
We told him no sleeping in the table and this is his way of getting around that.

Last week we had Emma return to us. Caught her in the live trap and we have kept her in isolation since. Last night we de used to let her roam the house. He rehabilitation has started. She will need a lot of rehab to get back to being a friend cat in society like her brothers and sisters.
Around 3-4 days in the kennel, hiway tried to touch her with a glove and she kept attacking. Finally got to a point where she would allow for pets. It started this week with anytime we put a hand in to change food, water or clean litter box she would attack.
It will take a while but she will get rehabilitated. We have had success with Marmalade, took him around a year an half before he trusted anyone around here. We have a few others that live here and are slowly getting there. We hope we the rehab we are able to place them in a home in the near future that is perfect for them.

It’s black cat appreciation day and we have our two black cats. We love black cats and hope everyone would treat them the same as any other cat in the world.
