Even in grief, you can find some joy. So, for this I would like to introduce you all to Miller. He is a 9 month old, shih tzu that was thrown away by the people that purchased him. He is the sweetest little tiny I have ever met. He is already potty trained, and has already become BFFs with Thor and our blind kitty, Minou. He is so happy and just wants to be held and snuggled. He has some old injuries, but he is so forgiving. We decided to name him after one of our favorite people 🖤 She knows who she is. Welcome to the good life, baby Miller. You are already so loved.

My cattle loving, chicken herding, cat snuggling, brilliant girl. She saved me. She made me brave. She taught me confidence I had never had. She made this introvert a little more social. She kept me safe. She passed service dog training, she went with me everywhere. She thrived in the farm life, loved adventure and anything that breathed. Her recall was incredible. I had never had this kind of connection with a dog. She could read me like a book and knew what I needed. She instantly fell in love with Kevin, which was a sign for me. She showed me then that I could trust him. After being abandoned by her first owner, dumped by her second, shot at, cornered with a baseball bat yielding nut and then sitting in a shelter for MONTHS with no interest- she became mine. She changed my life. She and I have been through so much together. We survived together. Then Lymphoma took her from me. She was my guidepost for the last 6 years. Now I feel lost without her. This is the worst loss yet…

It’s storm season here in the south, and this year is an unpredictable one. All of our rescue animals have been through quite a bit, several even spending their lives locked outdoors or chained outdoors. The minute there is a rumble of thunder, they will start to shake, pant and drool. Currently, is the only thing keeping me sane right now! Thankfully, even our picky ones love these! I will always recommend them! ⛈️

I don’t need another dog…. Someone please adopt this perfect tiny boy! He’s 33 lbs, coach potato, great with dogs, cats and kids. PLEASE consider this angel boy! Currently in Texas!

Most of you remember Hulks condition when we pulled him from a shelter. He had been completely neglected, had demodex and a possible and an eye issue. He has responded beautifully to meds all the way around and recovered nicely. He still has some hair growing back in, but it will be back in completely in no time. Hulk is the absolute cutest little squish!! We all think he is SO handsome!!!!!

He is currently with a foster family and they are moving!! Ideally we would love for him to find his forever home, but we would be ok with a foster as well.

His foster says he is a couch potato, loves long naps, sunbathing. His ideal home would be someone that was home and had another low energy dog. Hulk really needs help with potty training and also needs consistency and patience in routine. Could this be you??? We really need some help in placing this guy. He’s only 3 1/2 and weights 33 lbs. His velvety lilac fur and tan focal points are also easy on the eyes. 😍

He’s great with low energy dogs, cats and even kids. If you’re interested in adopting, he is adoptable anywhere and currently currently located in the Dallas Fort Worth area

Everyone, please welcome Sergeant “Sarge” Cruz, to the herd. Without getting to into the details at this time, He is a breeder dump due to deformities, special needs and much needed medical intervention. stepped up and took him in, got him straight to a veterinarian and procedures have begun. He’s had his cleft lip fixed at some point, he had FHO procedures on both of his back legs in the last 2ish months. He does not walk well, one leg just drags. Most of the time around the house (we have hardwood floors) it’s much easier for him to just scoot his back end around. He is still healing slowly, but y’all know we love the little misfit toys over here! Hubs fell in love with him and now he’s home!
He’s so sweet and cuddly, same “breed” as Waffles but frenchie sized, at not even 30 lbs (most of that weight is his huge noggin). He loves every dog and person he meets and is great with the cats.
I’m still grieving my Bubbles, but rescue never stops, and we have to help who we can. So, without further ado, welcome home little Sarge 🖤

Yesterday, I lost the most perfect little French girl there ever was. Just 3 weeks shy of her 5th birthday. She’s been struggling for about 2 months now. After countless vet visits, tests, food and medication changes, albuterol treatments, she was officially diagnosed with a sinus tumor on her left side about a week ago. this type of cancer is aggressive and takes an animal fast, 3-5 months on average. It caused her ear to drain and be painful, it caused a lot of left eye drainage and pain, and her nasal discharge just couldn’t stop. As a frenchie, breathing is already a struggle. She started having seizures off and on and then they became more frequent. This is because she was losing oxygen, and the tumor was starting to impact the brain. Yesterday, she just couldn’t breathe anymore, no matter what I tried. I wasn’t ready… My heart is shattered, I’m exhausted, and the pack is so confused. Her body was so tired, but we genuinely weren’t ready. This felt like losing Reed all over again.
I am determined to figure out which breeder had her and dumped her. I’ll do whatever I can to keep more Bubbles’ from living as she did with him. Adopt, please. STOP BUYING from breeders. Please.
I can’t save all the used up mamas, but I’m doing my damnedest. She lived the life she so desperately deserved these last 9 months. But that was not nearly long enough…

We’re still searching for Layla.

A possible sighting came in this morning said to have spotted her on the other side of I-10 on Westgreen in the Memorial Parkway area around 10:45am Saturday morning. She could be anywhere at this point, as she would have already traveled 5-6 miles from her fosters house to get there.

If you frequent the area, please be on the lookout. If you’re able to help pass out/put up flyers, please let us know and we can email you a flyer. If you spot her, please try to keep an eye on her and reach out to us.
