We have a bunch of really nice, hand-raised young bantam gents looking for a new coop! We need space so we’re offering these fellows one last time before we may need to process them sustainably. (Hard part of farming). Pairs UFD.

We still have some young blue/black bantam orpingtons that must go together in pairs (1 boy, 1 girl). These birds are little egg machines and the boys are the sweetest, chillest dudes. Excellent mothers too. Hatched this year in March. Just downsizing since I have the boy I want and would love these gents to find a home.

Did you know our Billy has a little brother? And he’s looking for new humans to snuggle him and a flock to call his own! This little fella is a smooth OEGB over d’Uccle cross, is carrying a copy of barring and will be bantam sized. If you like the feather leg look but not too much feather, he’s the perfect inbetween. He’s easy to hold like a little hamburger and young enough to mold into your very own little short king buddy. Message us if you’re interested in this cute little guy.

Teddy is off to his new home to live his life as the best house husband for his next flock. He’s given us some promising children to help us continue our buff cuckoo project!

Currently growing out and socializing 4 handsome Crele Orpington boys. I will only have space to keep one of these fellows for next year’s breeding season and it’s a hard decision. But whether I keep, place, or last resort- sustainably harvest, I try to give every boy the best life he can have. I enjoy working with them so much.

Three of these boys will be looking for a flock of their own in a few months when they mature a bit more. If you’re interested in having a very good stripey boy for your flock or project, feel free to reach out.

The reds are making their way through their teenage molt and we are excited to see how they fill out. Theyve become good friends with our keeper buff. Dube, the crele next to them, could very well be their mother! She is our short stack wheaten-y hen 🤣

Shipped hatching eggs are always a gamble, but I’m happy to have at least 4 out of the dozen make it to hatch. I’m excited to be using two Crele Old English Game Banatam lines I really like to form our own.

✨UPDATE: Teddy has found his new home ❤️ Godspeed, wide king!

Hatch date: 6/24/23 - Buff English Orpington Rooster - Big Ted “Teddy”

Teddy is as close to a dog as a bird can get. He’s taught us so much and given us so much, and while he’s still a young and productive fellow, we’re open to giving him a chance at a flock more dedicated to Buffs, or going to a family needing a gentle garden buddy.

We are in no rush to place Teddy, but we wanted to put it out there that we’re looking to make space for his gorgeous son to take over for next season.

Teddy is best described as a food-motivated, biddable, easygoing, dadly, himbo who’s an experienced cowboy when it comes to charming hens and will give any gentle kiddo the best rooster interactions. Great fertility. Great personality. A class act. Would drive a minivan if he was a person. Always the guy bringing capri-suns and pringles to the party. Would probably wear New Balance sneakers and dad jeans.
