Good morning!! Ruby decided that Easter Sunday was a good day to have her puppies. She had five beautiful babies and so far mom and the little ones are doing great. The first few days are always the most important and hopefully in a few days I will be able to post some individual pictures and let those with deposits down begin to pick their puppies. As I mentioned in my last post, we currently have quite a few deposits already down and with this being our last year we are not accepting any more deposits at this time. These last 13 years of raising Beagles has been quite the ride but unfortunately it is time for that ride to end. Prayers for momma and puppies are always appreciated!!

Time for a puppy update!! We weren’t thinking that we would be having puppies anytime soon but Ruby appears to be pregnant. This is wonderful news but unfortunately since we didn’t see anything happen we do not have any idea when her due date is. I am going to guess that she is due in about 2 weeks but that could vary greatly. Just keep an eye on our page for updates because I will try to post as soon as the puppies start arriving. If you already have a deposit down I will be getting in touch once the choosing process begins which is usually when the puppies are around three days old. If you don’t already have a deposit down unfortunately I don’t think we will be taking any more deposits at this time. Since we are planning on this being our last year we feel it is best to not take any more deposits. If things change I will let everyone know.

Puppy pile!!!

Decided to post a video today instead of the usual weekly pictures. It is so much fun to see the puppies in action and it gives you a completely different perspective of them. These sweet little fur babies are now six weeks old and will be heading to their homes in just two weeks. I know we have a lot of people who are ready for puppy snuggles. Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday and that this video brightens this snowy day for everyone.

Puppy play time

Time for a video of the puppies!! One of our puppy moms from Ruby's litter accidentally dropped a toy as they were leaving and we didn't find it till awhile later so she just decided to leave it here. I thought the puppies might like to play with it and they definitely are enjoying it. Hope this video brightens your day during these crazy times!!

Here is a video of Gus(Bubba) and Aurora(Peanut). I am always amazed at how far these sweet pups have come. They both had their last bottle last night. It was kind of a bitter sweet moment. They are both doing a great job with their hard puppy food and are still getting just a little wet food. Can’t believe all these puppies will be heading to their homes in two weeks.

Puppies!!

I decided to take a little video of the puppies today instead of posting individual pictures. I figure we all could use a little something to make us smile during these crazy times. Hope everyone likes it!! I will try to post one of the two little ones later today or tomorrow.

Ruby’s 2019 litter at almost seven weeks old!

Good morning!! One of our puppy families asked if I ever post videos of the puppies. I have never done it before but decided I should give it a try. As you can imagine, taking individual pictures of puppies at this stage can be very hard since they are so mobile. It usually takes me about an hour and a half to take, edit and post photos of a litter this size. So for this week I am going to post a video instead. Please let me know your thoughts. I can’t believe these sweet little fur babies will be heading to their homes at the end of next week.
