🧚 Kawai was brought to us by a nice gentleman, who while on a walk, saw this sweet baby tangled and stuck down a hill by Fall Creek. When they reached her, Rocks were piled on her leash, she couldn’t move, but luckily she was within reaching distance of the water, to keep her alive during this summer heat. 🧚♀️
🍄 Her finders took her home for a few days, until they could find somewhere safe for her to go. In that time, we learned she likes children and seems to be housetrained. 🍄
🦋 Kawai finished her stray hold and is now available for adoption. 🦋

Starbuck is a 5 year old dilute tortie.
Despite the fact that she tends to keep to herself, she does well around the other cats. She doesn’t go out of her way to be a loner, she’s just content or without the company. While she loves to lay around, this girl also enjoys playing with feathery wand toys when she gets the chance.
A lot of people think 5 years is a bit old for a cat and tend to lean towards the 2 and under crowd. Starbuck is the best of both worlds- She is sweet, calm, quiet and seems to be pretty sure of herself. Whether you’re looking for a playful cat or someone to just relax on the couch with, she’s your girl.

⚡️ Ziggy ⚡️
Ziggy is a very active, confident, s***ky 3 year old male. He has received some interest online and had visitors that seemed to like him, but so far no applications.
Ziggy can be a bit strong-willed around other cats and has a somewhat rough play style. Because of this, he might do best as an only cat and in a home without small children
While he has his quirks, Ziggy can be pretty chill too. He just gets a little too excited sometimes and needs a positive outlet. He loves to play with toys and run around until it’s finally time to plop down wherever he lands and take a nice nap.
He is FIV+, but this has no negative effects on his overall health or lifespan.

Starfire is a very beautiful, talkative little tabby who deserves a family that will give her comfort, love, and security.
Starfire lived an a home with a family, but was left abandoned outside when they moved away.
Below is a picture from in her home in her Christmas tree bed, and next to it is a picture of her outside, scared and alone in the very same bed.
Starfire was taken in by Indy Neighborhood Cats, and then came to us to be adopted.
She is one of the friendliest cats we have and she knows no stranger after the initial meeting. She gets along very well with other cats, as you can see in the picture of her with her friend Mei(also available for adoption!) Starfire is very playful, too. She loves all kinds of toys, but especially the chasers and wands.

Polly is a young tortie who is officially retired from mama duties. She came to us with multiple other moms and kittens from a hoarding situation.
As you can see, she only has one eye.
Polly had to have surgery to remove her eye because of an old injury and is now healed up ready for a forever home.
Polly is super friendly and loves attention. She doesn’t care to be picked up or carried, around but she is very affectionate and playful.

Hiro continues to make great strides to becoming the best he can be.
He is still weary of strangers and big/busy groups of people, but he’s proven that he is more than capable of all of the following-
✨ Trusting
✨ Bonding
✨ Providing and accepting affection
✨ Being a perfectly perfect, amazingly good boy.
There are still a few things Hiro needs to work on, and it’s no doubt that he is a cat that will require special patience when adopted.
Hiro seems to do well with most respectful cats. He loves treats, catnip toys, and napping. He can even be quite playful.
Hiro has recently allowed himself to be picked up. This isn’t something that he will let just anyone do, but especially not some be just met. If you come to meet Hiro and he seems totally disinterested at first, we encourage you to stay and hang out with him for a little while to give him a chance to come around. After all, he’s a staff favorite for a reason.
💟💟 Zophia 💟💟
We find it rather hard to believe that Zophia is still available for adoption. She is an incredibly sweet, 7 year old cat.
It is hard for Zophia to feel at ease with so many other cats around her. We think she could do fine with a respectful other adult cat in the home, but these younger rambunctious ones are proving to be a bit too much for her. She would much rather lounge around quietly than wrestle or play with the other cats.
We would love to see her find a comfortable, quiet home to settle down in and finally get some peace. She is very loving and would make a great companion to… probably anyone, really. She seems to get along well with all the people she’s met so far, and even a some older kids.
If you come to visit Sophia at the shelter, you are most likely to see her out on the catio, in the window, or waiting for treats at the table.
She is FIV+, but this has no effect on her lifespan or quality of life. Due to her FIV+ status, Zophia has a reduced adoption fee of just $60.
🏝️Cadbury wants to shack up with you for a bit, until he finds his forever home. 🏝️
🌈Cadbury is an awesome little guy, full of s***k and personality. Cadbury’s favorite things are walks and balls. He also enjoys resting in the sun and watching the world 🌎 go by. 🌈
🌸Cadbury is a 7 year old Jack Russell mix. He has been waiting for a long time for his new family, and living at the shelter is getting hard on him. He absolutely breaks our hearts when he looks at us with those little eyes, hoping he is next for a walk. 🌸

Yin 🤍 and Yang 🖤 didn’t get any interest yet.
These 2 girls are so loving and have been through so much in their little lives.
🐈⬛ They were found after their mother had been killed, with terrible infections in their eyes. Poor Yin had it the worst and they were so very sick when they came to us.
💊 We started medication multiple times a day and bottle fed them as they were not old enough to eat on their own.
❤️They went to a foster home, where they were exposed to other cats, dogs and children. They love to explore and cuddle. ❤️
🐾Both girls are fighters, and did amazingly throughout their treatment. We were concerned they may lose their eyes due to the infection, but they cleared up!!🐾
Yin has quite a bit of scarring while Yang just has some cloudiness. Both can see some, well enough to get around and play with string.
🩷We would love to keep these two together as they help each other and are quite bonded. They really have wonderful personalities and will be such friendly kitties!🩷

“We gave him his own space to decompress for a couple of days and then he started coming out of his shell.
He's now roaming the house and loves to sleep with my daughter. Our dog and other cat are treating him well and we're giving them time to figure each other out. I've attached some pictures. He's the sweetest guy”

“He is slowly coming closer to us which makes us really happy. We’ve been giving him his space so he doesn’t get all stressed out. Last night he kept on running around and playing with his toys. Thank you for letting us be able to give him a home and thank you for giving us a chance to make this little one happy. “
We can’t say enough how thankful we are to the people kind enough to give the nervous or shy pets a chance. It can be a worrying task at first, but gaining the trust and love of cats/dogs who have been through some stressful times can be incredibly rewarding 🥰

We want nothing more than to see Thursday running, playing, and experiencing the joy that every dog deserves. But we cannot do it alone. 💞Elvira💞 We’ve posted Elvira several times before, but she has had no interest. Elvira has been at our shelter for almost a year…which sadly is about half of her life! 😕 We had a wonderful foster step up & give her a much needed break, & now we have more insight to how wonderful this girl really is! Once processed we can schedule a time for you to meet Elvira since she is still in her foster home! From her foster: She definitely needs a calmer, quieter home. She's a bit tense/nervous with loud or unfamiliar sounds. She could live in a home with mature age kids who will be calm/gentle with her. As far as dogs unknown. With proper introduction, she could live with a cat who is calm, social, and friendly with other cats. Due to her nervous response towards sounds, Elvira will need to be acclimated to her environment first before an introduction with a cat takes place. Play has helped build her confidence and relax in her environment. She plays with wands, solo toys, and laser light, and she LOVES to ambush through tunnels. She loves neck massages and back rubs, and will lay over me to "ask" for them...(more like demand). She loves to perch by a window and watch the birds. She loves cat games on You Tube. She's a lap kitty, but doesn't like to be picked up or held. She enjoys sleep under the covers or in a cat cave. She gives kisses on the face. She's a sweet, playful girl who needs someone to be patient and calm as she adjusts to her new home. When she does, she will make you smile and laugh daily.
