I drug my feet for far too long, but we have finally made it official. Envie is here to stay!! Envie has been a part of my life for almost a year. She came for training, she stole my heart, and the rest is history. Envie is a young female, having turned 2 in August. She is a very petite girl and sits on the smaller end of the breed standard. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in literally EVERY other area. She has a gorgeous black mask, rich red pigment and her gait?! Oh that gait is a chefs kiss. This little lady is all heart. Loves her humans fiercely and is the most loyal friend and companion a momma could ask for. You will not meet a sweeter dog. She has a wonderful pedigree to boot. I spent a ton of time with Envie over the summer. She earned her CGC, CGCA, CGCU, BCAT, had several class wins and best female wins in the UKC ring and was awarded an SG2 show rating at an SV show in Michigan. She’s an easy keeper and always happy. In my eyes, she’s a total package. She was recently paired with Tank and confirmed pregnant. I’m excited to see what the future holds.

The puppies had so much fun in the snow today! Most of our area had a snow day. I hope everyone had as much enthusiasm as they did. What a fun group.
There are 2 black and red longcoat males from Asha x Carlos available and 1 black and red stock coat male from Tasia x Tank litter available.

I have gotten messages from people interested in puppies and comparing our prices to those of rescues/shelter dogs. If your budget is low, I encourage you to contact a GSD rescue. I am happy to help direct you to a rescue. They always have a need for adopters and fosters. I own rescues myself. They are amazing. You however do not get a history, lineage/pedigree reference of genetics, the dna make up of a particular dog, and generally get little to no information in regards to temperament, bite history, likes/dislikes as the shelters do not usually know those answers… There is no health guarantee or lifetime support.
We spend months, sometimes a year carefully choosing our breedings. We buy only high quality breeding dogs. Many direct imports, some are from the best pedigrees others have imported. I take extreme pride in my dogs and I’d like to think that shows. It is nothing to travel 10 hours to use a stud that compliments my female best. Trying to perfect structure, physical characteristics like ear set, top line etc. I like large bone, smooth gait, rich pigment, proportionately put together correctly. Most importantly having an appropriate temperament, environmentally sound, biddable in all settings, easy workability. We are truly trying to create so much more than just a cute puppy. They recieve ens/puppy culture from day 1. The puppies along with their parents are fed a high quality diet always. Everyone receives regular vet care, and my females receive several check ups throughout the pregnancy. We health test, we genetic test and we brucellosis test, we title, train and show our own dogs.
I hate that I even have to explain this, but here we are. Please do not message for a $500 puppy or “what’s your bottom dollar?” I’m a very compassionate person and I think everyone that has a passion or desire to own a german shepherd should be able to have one. But they are an investment. They are not a cheap breed. They are not exactly an easy breed. They require a whole lot of constant training, mental stimulation and support from their owner. They are always worth it! I am biased, but I think they are the best breed.
Research, ask questions. We are an open book. Prices reflect pedigree and quality. They deserve more than to be a “bottom dollar.”

There is not too much that excites me more than updates on my puppies. This home has 3 of our beautiful dogs. In the first photo, left to right, Rip (A litter), Montana (L litter) and Mila (K litter). Montana will hopefully one day contribute to our breeding program, but nothing beats them being spoiled in a loving home. 🥰 These sweethearts are loved by the Garvey family.

The man. The myth. The legend. Everyone’s favorite dog. Son of Marcello.
Carlos and I set out on a mission last year. Train. Train. Train. Title. Title. Title. We had an extremely productive 2023. He could frustrate me to tears. None of it even his fault. He was late to the game of structure, training and rules. Mouthy and wild. Together we learned. Together we became a team. Together we accomplished. We showed in both SV conformation and UKC. We spent the summer and fall months tracking, and he was INCREDIBLE. He taught me to “trust your dog.” We did the CGC series, FastCat, agility, the WB, and earned some trick dog titles. He welcomed his first litter, and proved to be an amazing father. I not only kept a daughter for myself, but placed both a solid black female and male into co owning homes so that we can be hands on in seeing what his offspring are like and follow the health testing.

Once myself and Sparr Kennel get the litters we have been dreaming so much about this past year, he will be available for stud to approved females.

This guy is a crazy mommas boy. The grass doesn’t grow under his feet. He is incredible with his nose, enjoys tracking, Starbucks 😂and Fastcat. Loves to be busy. Doesn’t need to be a hard job, but loves to work and please you. He’s been an awesome addition to our pack. He keeps me on my toes and laughing so hard I cry. My favorite saying when spending any amount of time with him is “fu$&ing Tommmmmmay!” He is a solid, strong guy, structurally and sized at the top of breed standard, environmentally sound and bullet proof, has rich red and dark black pigment, and gorgeous movement. Will add size, bone, environmental stability, confidence, mobility, strength and speed. He’s medium-high drive, medium toy and food drive, and great handler focus.

***we have been having issues with WUSV grading this poor guys elbows. They keep asking for additional information despite X-rays being gorgeous. Isthmus Vet in Madison says they are beautiful and doesn’t understand the need for all of these retakes and resubmissions. It gets costly. After going back and forth, I’ve decided to take the advice of the vet and submit to OFA for now and just get them graded. I will resubmit to SV later. I will update when I get scores, however, they look very nice and they should rate “normal.” Hips were beautiful and those were scored A/A***

At around 3am, we will welcome this sweet girl to the family! She is a long coat solid black German Shepherd and a total outcross for our kennel. I have 4 young pups to keep me busy in 2024. Excited to see what the future generations have to offer us. There will be a lot of gray hair, but so much fun.

Our friend Erica Flynn captured an absolutely beautiful moment between a father and his son. “Legend,” the brown collar, solid black male from our L litter, is somehow still available along with 3 of his brothers (2 black and red, 1 solid black. This litter is incredible and so smart. Most are currently showing lower medium drives. Brown collar male is slightly more busy than the rest. They have high food drive and high toy drive. Very handler focused and dedicated. I had surgery on Tuesday. They have spent the week playing amongst themselves by my chair and napping up against it, despite having an entire house to play in. Beyond sweet. Their structure is incredibly nice. They would do great in show or active family homes.

Look at the smiles on those faces! Our orange collar female from the “L litter” was a surprise birthday gift for the cutest twins on the planet. All they wanted was their very own German Shepherd and mom made sure they got one. 🥰 She must be a good puppy because Santa brought her a gift. Her boys gave her the name “Adonis” after their favorite character in a book they read at school. What lucky boys and what a lucky puppy. Adonis is owned by the Heather Danke family

Today 14 puppies went to the vet! Yes, 14!! The older pups got their last round of vaccines while the youngest litter had the works done. CVI’s are complete. This litter was a breeze, minus the pooping on the floor every 3 minutes! No umbilical hernias, healthy weights and all males have both testicles descended. 🎉 We recieved a clear bill of health. This would not have been run as smoothly as it did without the help of Patti Crawford and our vet! Thank you for letting me make last minute plans for your day today. Thank you Amherst Veterinary Hospital for accommodating us! For always squeezing in extra puppies/dogs and last minute appointments, urgent appointments, drop in progesterone tests for my girls, and everything in between, all year long. They are the amazing humans that keep my pack healthy and I am so thankful for them. They are such important people in my life 💜💙
Puppies will start heading to their homes this weekend. Such a bittersweet time but I’d be lying if I said I was ready. They were a very large litter with a few bottle babies and cutting the cord for me is a struggle sometimes 😂 I’m thrilled with all of my new owners and I know these puppies will go on to do amazing things. 🥰

A few cute pictures of the L litter 🥰 They have their vet visit/ CVI on Tuesday and start leaving me on Friday. 😭 It went entirely too fast. They have been an incredibly sweet litter and I enjoyed them so much. They’re very confident puppies. They will be medium drive. Showing a good amount of toy and food drive but have extreme love and focus for their handler. I have placed 2 of these gorgeous puppies in co-owning homes because I am so pleased with them.
There are 2 solid black, and 2 red and black males still in search of their families.

We had entirely way too much fun with pictures tonight. Some have more photos than others. It means it took them longer to get sick of my dumb game 😂 Puppies are roughly 6.5 weeks old. By far the highest maintenance litter to date. They love to sit in the litter boxes, play in the litter boxes and are in constant need of baths. They have gotten 3 in the last 2 weeks. That’s alot of baths and alot of towels. But they’re also a ton of fun. They enjoy their ENS/puppy culture daily. They are all very confident pups and their personalities are so hilarious. They have their CVI/Vet visits next week Tuesday already. The time flew by so quickly 🥹
I have 5 puppies available. They are listed “AVAILABLE” on their photo if they are not yet spoken for. I will be having a major surgery on December 26th. I will not be allowing people into my home for at least 2 weeks following surgery, so if you think you’d like to meet them or meet the parents, I would message to set that up. Otherwise, it will be after the New Year before I am able to accommodate you. Enjoy the pictures 🥰

My trio of Asha daughters. 🥰 I used a different sire for each litter. I had certain goals in mind with each one. When choosing my puppy, I look at several things but structure and confidence/temperament are at the top of the list. These 3 girls will all be completely different in size, personality and color… and thus far I’m so excited about my choices and couldn’t love each of them more.
Photo 1 is Finn. She is from the “i litter.” Her sire was Tino. She’s a larger female with beautiful coloring, large bone and a goofy personality. Extreme food motivation but a very natural want to please you. She is a spitting image of her mom. She will be taking the CGC tests in 2 weeks!
Photo 2 is Zero. Zero is from the “e litter.” Her sire was Raul. She has his beautiful rich mahagony pigment. She’s kind of a serious girl, loves to work and will do whatever you ask of her for nothing more than praise and head scratches. Does have extreme food drive if offered. Has a higher prey drive. Finn looks like mom, but Zero has her personality. They are identical in that they are always smiling, happy, will do anything for food, handler obsessed, environmentally bomb proof and can be with dogs of all sizes and either s*x and get along with everyone and anyone.
Photo 3 is Raya. From the current “L litter.” Her sire is Carlos. I’m excited to continue getting to know her and training and bonding with her. This is the future of our long coat program 🥰

I have had this habit of holding back black and red Asha daughters. I couldn’t be a party pooper and skip this litter 😂😂 I have opted to do co-owns on a solid black male and solid black female and finally settled on the female that will stay here. The newest member of our household will be the pink collar. Her half sisters Zero & Finnley were extremely easy to train, show and title. Consistently great temperaments, impressive noses, and the ease of workability from one Asha litter to the next has been lovely. The girls could not have more different personalities but each gives me the same end result. 🤌🏼 Thus far Asha has thrown me nothing less than excellent hips, something I’m incredibly proud of and can only hope continues to be the trend.

This goofball and I put in some work and made a respectable citizen out of him. I have only had him a few months but I’m so impressed with his focus, drive, persistence, workability, willingness to try anything, stunning looks, and let’s not forget that personality. He has SOOOO much personality. Sometimes I am in tears from laughing so hard, other times I’m in tears because I’d like to kick his butt. Whether you love him or you don’t, he will make sure you never forget his name. He’ll never forget his name either. 😂🤣We’ve had a busy summer. He accomplished several different things. He spent a couple of months learning human scent detection. He earned his BCAT title, most recently his CGC, CGCA and CGCU titles. We will follow with TKN/TKI titles in the next couple of weeks. We made an appearance in the SV ring and will hit that again this spring for his show rating. He had his hips/elbows done through the WUSV and his hips scored A/A(good) while his elbows are being redone as there was a miscommunication between the vet/WUSV office. The vet expected them to grade normal. He has been a great addition to our kennel and will be an asset to our breeding program. We’re proud of you buddy!

5 week pictures! Look at these cuties 🥰 They had their very first bath yesterday and most of them napped while the warm water ran down them. Kibble was added to their food yesterday and they thought that was the best stuff ever. They are cruising around, playing, using a litter box, and are the absolute best little snugglers. I’m having so much fun getting to know their personalities. Fun fact- every single puppy was stamped by their daddy with 6(total guess!) little white hairs on their chest. How freaking cute.

I have 4 extremely gorgeously awkward puppies looking for families. I have lowered their fees in hopes of finding them perfect homes. They are not free or priced as a BYB dog.They do not make great Christmas gifts for your children, and should be a purchase made only if you are serious about putting in the effort and time that a puppy deserves. I haven’t pushed exposing these last few much because I’m not looking for just a home, I want them in the right home. Last year I had a record number of returns. Prior to that, I had NEVER had a return. 80% of those were during and immediately following the holidays. I am committed to the puppies I create. I know the quality and planning that goes into these pairings and what they have to offer someone /a family. Know that this breed is not exactly budget friendly and will not just quietly lay in a corner. They need direction, structure, quality diet, an outlet for both mental and physical exercise, and most importantly, a human that appreciates a Velcro dog. You will never go to the bathroom alone again. They are the most loyal, obedient, goofy, best friend you could ever ask for kind of dogs. You will never question how much they adore you.
The first picture is a female. “Kora.” Currently showing medium drive, extreme food and handler motivation, higher toy drive. The following 3 photos are males. Puppy #2 and #4 are also medium drives, extreme food and handler focus, medium toy drives. Puppy #3 is showing medium-high drive, is a bit more busy, high handler and food drive and high toy drive. He is my little pack leader and likes to be bossy. All have extreme confidence, are very social, have excellent structure and conformation. They are well into potty training and doing great. They have large bone, will be good sized dogs and have very nice pigment. All are black and red. Would be suitable for AKC sports, the show ring or in an active family home.
