What an awesome by our two Animal Control Officers, Officer McIntyre and Senior Officer Polk!!

🐶 They received a call from a concerned Citizen about a mama dog and puppies running loose in a trailer park.

When our officers got out on scene they realized that mom and 8 puppies were trying to escape the heat, hiding under the mobil home.

They are now cool and comfortable at the shelter!! 💕Thank you for our wonderful Animal Control Officers!!! 💪🐾

BRUNO is giving all the cool guy vibes 😎✌️

He is a 1 year old American Bulldog Mix. Bruno is SUPER dog friendly, is smart and knows SIT and SHAKE, and we think he is even potty trained! Bruno can get a little nervous around people but is a giant goof ball and cuddle bug once he warms up!

Bruno is apart of our Extended Stay program which means that his regular adoption fee has been reduced to only $25!

Failure. Failure. Failure.

Three of our fosters failed today and we couldn’t be happier! 🎉

Dippin Dot’s foster isn’t new to fostering, but this sweet pup was only the second foster to find a permanent place in their home. 🐶

Magpie’s foster has fostered over 40 kittens! 🐈 But, Magpie was the first one that she couldn’t part with after caring for her for over a month!

Coco’s foster mom found him and was bottle feeding. She brought him to the shelter but decided to foster him until he was old enough to be neutered and adopted. Her first foster…her first foster fail! 🐈‍⬛

We love our fosters! ❤️ They care for underage kittens and puppies, sick or injured animals, and those waiting for transports to other shelters.

Amalia (the 2 year old heeler/mini Aussie mix) and Siren (the 8 month old Dutch Shepherd mix) both found their FOREVER homes today!! 🥰🏠

He is such a lovely little guy with the coolest nose! 🐽

Stagecoach is very people and dog friendly! He enjoyed getting all of the treats, pets and carrying the toy bucket around! 🤣

Our ‘cat colony’ room that has been housing multiple litters of puppies for a while…is now FULL of super cute KITTENS!!!

Great by our Animal Control Officer, Officer McIntyre!!! 🐍

Our Officers received a call of a very large snake in an open field in north Irving. After receiving a photo they knew that this snake is not meant to be part of our urban wildlife.

After impounding the snake it seemed awfully round and brought it back to the shelter to be x-rayed by our vet staff…….nothing is wrong with the snake….it’s just REALLY full!!😂
