Part 2: Stories that Connect Our Hearts: KitKat, Fifi, and Miss Caramel Truffles 💙 🐾

3 Cats (all females) boarded with us for 20 nights while their Owner was in Kenya. The cats all had different personalities, which caused Mom (Ms. Pamela) to worry about them every day leading up to the boarding as well as during the boarding stay. Mom called us every day and we always gave her an update of how the girls were doing. Mom was so appreciative of our efforts that she came back numerous times after picking them up to drop off some cookies and pizza for our staff members to enjoy! Thank you for being a part of our Furever Vets Family Ms. Pamela!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Dr. Baxters BBQ Bash! Our team was able to raise $870.00 during this event on Saturday - our team is still counting donations so we will update everyone soon will a more accurate number!

We could not have reached this goal without the help from YOU ALL - THANK YOU! It was a great evening connecting with community members and raising awareness and funds for our friends, K9s For Warriors! 🐶 🐾 🇺🇸

TOMORROW we will be hosting our first ever Dr. Baxter's BBQ Bash from 4:00pm-8:00pm at our Furever Vets Urgent Care & Pet Resort! This event will be open and FREE to all community members! During Dr. Baxter's BBQ Bash kids, pets, and pet pawrents from the community will be invited to come celebrate all the festivities of summer and give back to a pawsome cause! Our team is raising funds, collecting donations, and raising awareness for our friends, K9s For Warriors! 🐶 🐾 🇺🇸

There will be live DJ, variety of local vendors, dog washing stations, facility tours, painting with your pet station, various outdoor games, multiple mascot appearances, an inflatable obstacle course, a dunk tank, photo opportunities, raffles, and much more! K9s For Warriors will be set up tabling to continue to collect donations, and educate guests what they do on a day to day basis.

Admissions to the event are free, most activities are free - some activities ask for a donation that goes back to K9s For Warriors. Food and drinks are available for community members to purchase through the food vendors on site.

Parking for this event can be found offsite - since we are using our outdoor space (entire parking lot) there will be no parking on site this day at Furever Vets Central. We suggest parking in the plaza directly in front of us since this is a weekend event OR the Publix plaza located right next door to us. Then follow the signs and walk over to our check in table! 🤩
