My sweet neighbor surprised me, bought a big round of hay for me last week and dumped it over the fence with his tractor. He was worried about us not being open for business and wanted to make sure my goats had enough to eat. ❤️ Anyway, we’ve never gotten a round bale of hay before. It’s A LOT of hay!! The goats immediately went after it!! I had to remove the thin plastic netting surrounding it because they were eating it, but didn’t realize that was the ONLY thing holding it all together!! You can see in the background, about half the round left behind in a pile!! The goats had SO much fun playing on it!! We were able to get the remaining half of it rolled up to the shade tent to save as feed for later!! 😂 we were rolling as the goats kept trying to jump back up on top of it!! Good times!! 🤣 Thanks Havana Jax Landscaping! ❤️

Today we started harvesting our loquats and making jam! I always enjoy doing this with our homeschool classes. It’s quite a lot this year, as we haven’t had all our weekly farm kids visiting every week and eating the loquats as they play! They always enjoy playing and then running to the tree to pick a little snack! How fun is that? They then go about the property spitting out the seeds. As you can imagine, we have LOTS of little loquats growing all about now! Haha! We dig them up, put them in a pot with some yummy soil and find them new homes! ❤️ What do you guys have growing in your yards? Is anything ready to eat yet?
