PLEASE watch out for your fur babies!

FYI: The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone. The coyote gets your dog to chase him and then somewhere in the distance the pack waits for your dog. Then the outcome is tragic as they can & will attack/kill your pets. Just be aware it can happen to your beloved pet.

{Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season.}

UPDATE 1/31 - SAFE AND BACK AT LCHS!!
We are still searching for newly-adopted Maggie. NEW SIGHTING: She was LAST SEEN on CANYON RD SE btw UNION STATION & BEAVER RUN.
Our humane agent has been working closely with her adopters and has been out searching multiple locations since she escaped on the 14th.
PLEASE keep an eye out for her and if seen DO NOT CHASE or call out for her. Dial the number below (740-644-0132) or message us here on FB.
She is med-large in size and weighs about 50. She has patchy black fur.

Please keep an eye out for Maggie. She was adopted yesterday and escaped her a crate and the front door of her new home today.
She was last seen on Sandalwood Dr (near James and Thornwood) and headed toward Newark.

Koda has been missing for 2 months now. We are still hoping someone has him or has seen him. We miss him so much. He is super sweet, but will be in survival mode and will run when approached. Please do not chase him. Take a picture if you can, and call us with his location and the direction he is headed. Please let us know even if you may have seen him weeks ago. Any information on his possible whereabouts is greatly appreciated! He may have been seen at the end of March at the intersection of Miller Paul and Fancher Rd, and again at Green Cook Rd. and Fancher rd. There is always a chance those sightings were not him, so he could be anywhere by now. Please share keep your eyes out for him so we can hopefully get our boy back.

Description: Koda is a black/white/tan 1 year old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix. He was wearing a blue collar with a white stripe when he went missing. He is microchipped. He's very sweet, but shy with strangers.

A rescue friend of ours friends family was in a terrible car accident and their dog is missing. The owner of Emmie is in the hospital taking care of her mother (she tragically lost her father) so flyers haven’t been made up as of yet. Her close friend asked us to post this in hopes someone may have seen Emmie in the area. Details are as follows and please share if you can.

“She was traveling in a vehicle that was involved in an accident on Highway 81 on the Roanoke/Salem, Virginia line. One passenger was killed and the other is in the hospital.  Emmie escaped at the scene of the accident.  It is unknown if Emmie is injured. UPDATE 11/4/20 SARAH IS SAFE! Krista (owner) got a call that Sarah was laying in the field and she was able to get her. She is currently at the vet to make sure she's okay.

UPDATE: Right now there is a lot of attention on Sarah. PLEASE remember that the worst thing you can do is chase or pursue these skittish dogs. PLEASE do not stop and get out and pursue or call to her—people are doing this and she is running scared. PLEASE just report sightings to us 614-377-1777 or owner at number below. We want her to stay in the area she is in so that we have a better chance with traps tonight. —THANK YOU!

LOST NEWLY ADOPTED DOG in Canal Wi******er, Ohio. Sarah was last seen running south along Lithopolis Rd south of Salem Church Rd on 10/24/20.

She was just adopted from the Franklin County dog shelter this morning and upon arriving at her new home, was scared off by a loud truck. If you see Sarah, please DO NOT CHASE! She will run!

Bosco's owner Floyd Curry was in a terrible car accident in Reynoldsburg, Ohio on I-70E near the OH-204 exit 7/31/20. Bosco ran across several lanes of traffic and is now north of I-70 off of Taylor Rd SW.
