Hello City Pets friends! Just a reminder from your fellow pet lovers at the pet shop. The 4th can be lots of fun... but it can be really tough on pets! The scary noises and excessive heat can be a tremendous source of stress! Many pets become frightened and run away from home on this day each year. Try to keep pets calm, cool (and inside!) during all the excitement. We have all the products that you might need to help your furry friends get through the holiday. Hello City Pets friends! Just a heads up! The biting Flies are terrible right now. If your pet spends any time at all outside this product can really help! Also, be sure and be as diligent as possible about pet waste in the yard. It attracts the flies to the area in the first place. Come on by and we'll show you how to use it. Also - not comfortable applying flea "spot on" type meds? Bring your pet and we'll help you apply the first months dosage and send you home with the rest. Maybe a free treat to add to the fun! You're not going to get THAT online! 😊

Exciting news at City Pets! Grooming is expanding at the Pet Shop. This is Carrie. Carrie has been grooming at the shop on Mondays for a while but is now taking appointments on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays ! Check out the hand - fed baby cockatiels at City Pet! These sweet babies were bred by one of my best people here at the pet store! Cockatiels are super playful and hardy!. For the investment (179.98!) you just can't get a better pet bird for the family. They don't learn to say a lot but they are great whistlers! Come by the store and let us introduce you to the newest member of your family!!!

But if your house is a little more quiet- go ahead and share Christmas morning with a new member of the family! We are closed on Christmas day but regular hours otherwise. Open 12:00 to 4:00 on Christmas Eve.

CITY PETS is looking for two full - time professional groomers! As many of you know, Kelly, our groomer of almost 10 yrs has taken a break from grooming to raise a family! Carrie is a wonderful groomer and we are so pleased to have her, but she is only able to groom one day a week for us. If you know someone who might be interested please have them give me a call.
