Our non-profit rescue is officially closed. Without the Cafe, we just weren't able to do as many rescues as before. However, We were so honored to meet so many beautiful people in the cat rescue world. And although we are closing this chapter, we hope to continue personally with the rescue effort as much as possible. Our leftover rescue funds are being donated to the most awesome rescue we have ever worked with called PAWS for your Heart. The President Crystal Beck is the most amazing woman and she is passionate about cat rescue. We have worked in collaboration with her almost from the beginning and we are so glad to be able to help her rescue with this final donation. Merry Christmas you guys! It has been a blast!

*****Update!! Jasmine was adopted this morning and I hear she is already loving her new family!*******

It didn't take Jasmine long to aquire the look of longing. It's as if she's saying: "Hey, I know the competition is fierce with all these kittens, but I think I deserve serious consideration."
According to her foster, Jasmine has "never met a stranger," "loves to cuddle" and is a "purring machine."
She's 15 weeks old and gets along well with other cats and dogs.
Won't you consider giving Jasmine a loving and secure home?

We said goodbye to Ms. Waffles today as she left for her new furever home. We had lots of applications and we finally found her perfect match. Picture is of my son Zane saying goodbye to Waffles who was his all time favorite foster kitty. We will add update pictures in her new home when we get them.

Ms. Waffles is still up for adoption. She is an almost 4 year old Himalayan with extremely long gorgeous hair. She currently is groomed every 6 weeks at Fancy Paws Pet Salon in Kernersville. She will need to be groomed regularly for her health and hygiene. She is Spayed, microchipped and utd on vaccines. She would do best in a home with older teenagers or adults. She is an indoor only cat. She gets along with cats and some dogs even though she will never be a dog lover. Her adoption fee is $300 and reflects previous vet care and her ongoing need for grooming care. Well it has taken 3 months but Piglet is now fully adjusted to the 2 dogs in her fosters home. She still doesn't like them and will sometimes hiss at them when they get too close BUT she doesn't run or hide anymore. Yay!

This black beauty with a unique cleft lip still has occasional panic attack episodes where she runs around in a circle and meows loudly but they are fewer now. She gets along great with the fosters other cats and children. She is very lovable. If you are interested in adopting Piglet please message us for an adoption application.

Happy Birthday week for this 3 year old cleft lip cutie! Piglet is still available for adoption. She is currently in a foster home where she hides most of the day from the dogs but once they have retired to their crates for the night she comes out. The foster says "Piglet is so lovable. She climbs on the back of my office chair while I work and snuggles my neck and gives me little head bumps. She needs a dog free home though cause she hides all day til they are put up at night. She gets along great with our other 3 cats though."

We are sad to say goodbye to Waffles and Whiskers Cafe. This is the last day for the Thrift Store to be open. All of our cats have been adopted but Piglet who is currently in a foster home awaiting her forever family. We will continue our rescue efforts. Look for our new TNR program coming soon

Congratulations Leia, Kenobi and Padme on getting adopted together.

Some may be wondering so I'll explain. Leia was adopted by an awesome family who considered taking one of the siblings too but didn't want the last sibling left alone. After much consideration, they decided to come back and adopt BOTH of Leia's siblings. They will grow up all together ♥️♥️♥️ oh happy day indeed!!
