Not all therapy using horses involves riding. Unlike therapeutic riding, EAGALA teaches Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) which instead focus on experiential, ground-based activities. The EAGALA treatment team works with the client in creative horse-centered activities designed to address specific treatment goals, producing spectacular results. Often during a s

ession, the horse or experience can initiate an “Aha” moment that impacts that client’s way of thinking or behaving. After the session, the client takes away key experiences and can begin to make lifelong changes.

It’s that time of year again! Time to sign up for horse camp! We have two camps this summer. Our first camp is June 13-17 from 9-3 every day. This camp is the basics to riding students will learn how to control their horse at the walk and trot and learn the basics to jumping as well as some basic horsemanship. Our second camp is June 27- July 1 from 9-3 every day. This camp is for more advanced riders who have already been in the riding program or at least have mastered walking trotting and some cantering as well as jumps, this camp will also fine tune riding skills and cover basic horsemanship. The camp is a total of $250 with a $50 non-refundable deposit. There are limited spaces available a total of 8 for each camp! This is a first come first serve basis!
