Putting this out there for a Navy Veteran in my area who is going through medical diffulties after surgery.

Grizzly needs a new home. He's a 6 month old male German Shepherd, house trained, heartworm and parasite negative, kennel, toys, food, and vet records come with.

Great temperament with strangers. Well socialized. Has lived with a cat. Well behaved indoors. A solid worker. Ball motivated.

Has a solid understanding of: sit, down, come, fetch, stay.

I started teaching Boy "place" today. He had me in stitches laughing. I love this big lug to pieces!

Sometimes, the best way to control behavior is not to extinguish it, but put it on cue! Bear knows it's okay to give hugs when I give the verbal cue "hug" and tap my shoulders. He knows we're done with hugs when I say, "Move over." Finley, of course, inserts her shenanigans anywhere she goes. She's the #1 land 🦈 of the gang...

This tandem session works because Thor is food motivated, and Kyah is Toy motivated. Is your dog more food or toy motivated?
