We will be open at 9:00. Please keep in mind what the roads are like in YOUR area and use your best judgment. AND PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RESCHEDULE FOR TODAY OR TOMORROW. The parking lot has been scraped but there are still some dicey areas of slick ice.

We will attempt opening tomorrow for the first time this week. If we get freezing rain tonight we will remain closed. We will be in contact with our clients scheduled for tomorrow. Likewise, if you know that you will be unable to make your appointment then please let us know. Also, our parking lot may still be slick and bad. Take that into consideration before making your decision. As always everyone’s safety is the most important factor.

Our parking lot is a solid sheet of ice as are many of our surrounding roads. We will get back into the shop as soon as we can.

Due to continued travel risks and frigid temperatures we will remain closed Wednesday 1/17. We will get everyone rescheduled as soon as we can safely do so.

We will also remain closed on Tuesday 1/16. This storm is not kidding. An additional 3-5 inches is expected today and we want our clients to stay home and visit us when it’s safe to do so. We will be in contact with Tuesdays scheduled clients and will get you back in as soon as we safely can. Please stay home and stay safe. Tons of wrecks and stuck cars out there.

Happy Sunday everyone,
We like all of you are watching the news and the skies very closely. If we actually do get snow tomorrow we will make a judgment call as early as possible about the open or close status of the shop. We want everyone to be safe. We will contact all of tomorrow’s appointments if we do decide to remain closed or open late as soon as we see if the white stuff actually arrives or not. If you are scheduled for tomorrow please feel free to send us a message here if you’d like the option of rescheduling once you have made a determination about your own driving status and area if you have not heard our decision yet. Again, everyone’s safety is the most important determining factor for us. As we all know from living in the valley it will be a wait and see situation.
Just keep checking back here tomorrow morning and we will also contact you personally if you’re on tomorrow’s schedule.

We hope that everyone has had a great Christmas and started off a wonderful New Year. Just want to do a couple quick housekeeping reminders. Beginning this year WALK IN NAIL TRIMS will be a CASH ONLY SERVICE. This decision has been made to avoid raising the price for this service. Our credit card processing fees are outrageous for small monetary amounts.
Also, Heather will be working alone until Daneen has healed enough from surgery to return to work. Please be patient. Leave a message if she’s unable to get to the phone, she will return calls prior to the beginning and at the end of each day. Things may take a little longer but know that she’s doing her best. Additionally, we are consistently booked out 6-8 weeks with very regular clients. This will likely increase out further than that timeframe until Daneen is able to return to 100%. In an effort to be fair to our existing clients we are unable to take any new large breed dogs or doodles at this time. We are in the process of updating the shop with the additional outlets and power requirements to be able to possibly hire an additional groomer or assistants. We are certainly growing since our opening in July and we are so grateful for our clients. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding and we are certainly excited about 2024.

We here at Bows and Bones Grooming Company would like to thank each of you for your patronage and support this past year and are already looking forward to 2024. We will be closed until January 2nd to spend much needed time with our families and have some electrical work done to the shop.
