The Lafayette Police Department is partnering with the Humane Society of Boulder Valley this Saturday (May 11, 9am-12pm) to provide some low-cost pet vaccinations. The clinic will be set up in the police department's parking lot at 451 N. 111th Street. No appointment necessary, but pre-registration through the QR code is appreciated if possible. It is the worst part and the final emotion is why did I do this to myself

For a bit you forget about the thousands of great moments and the pure love that you have felt
In the final moments that hurt so much

I’m grateful for the last 10 years with our Lab Oakley

Tomorrow we say goodbye to her

She drove my crazy but loved me madly

She’s out walking around like nothing is wrong
It becomes a total mind F’

Maybe she will be fine
Then bad night
So you decide then she wakes up fine

It’s not my first rodeo and in the end we are fortunate that we get to make a choice in helping them be free of pain and suffering

It’s not easy to make hard decisions

This beautiful squish bug Lizzie
Was diagnosed with The Virus last week

I know I had been feeling really stressed about THE virus in general
So when I got the news I thought the worst
I was afraid she wouldn’t make it through

But after days of her not feeling well and not eating very much-not like her usual self
I got word today that she is back!
Eating and getting on the sofa and playing with her sister Maggie
(She did NOT get the virus oddly but thankfully)
